content library lost unto itself

using studio 4.9's search for content doesn't bring up the file/icons but just makes a small box saying what you put in the search.... "daz studio formats" (most of my stuff downloaded /installed with manager) doesn't expand into a directory tree tho it did in the past. it lists others which also do not "unfold". i'm trying to find the environments folder which it found 30 minutes ago. it found/loaded blue planet and now can do neither. i reset to default settings but this didn't help tho it still sees content it did before. has a problem, as of today, navigating directories.

It sounds as if you have collapsed the folder list, there should be a dark area in the bar under the checkboxes, or at the left side of the Content Library pane if you had the list to the side, which when clicked will expand the area.
