The old Madelyn Hair by Neftis 3d is really nice, I'd like to find something like it, but more new. Same look, one side behind the ear, and other out enough that it doesn't cover the face, and the tip ends curl up and out a little.
Anyone know of anything like it but more modern, and allows for better close up renders?

Sadly, no, I don't know of a good replacement. But, if you find one, please let us know!
Nobody???? Nothing? No where? *cough*, well I suppose it is a good example of something the market is missing more of. This is the only medium length hair model with the hair neatly tucked behind 1 ear that I could find. Where some see a lack of product, others see an opportunity to capitalize & prosper. :P
Fantastica is somewhat close, but longer: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/fantastica-hair
Harlow hair is similar, but with a center part: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/harlow-hair
LaLaLais has a side part: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/lalalisa-hair
Tandy has cat ears you can hide or use: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/tandy-hair
Vida Hair - http://www.daz3d.com/shop/vida-hair
Zelene Hair - http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/zelene-hair/85386
Both of those require playing with morphs to achieve what you look for.
Eventually you can try to give those hair a bit more bump :) The look of a hair is all in textures :)
Well - what about contacting Mairy/3dream at Renderosity and ask for something like that?
Both Neftis and Mairy/3Dream have hair models in the Store here, so can be contacted through this site as well.
Really? How?
Because the only way I know is if one of these has written in the forums, then you can try to find a message and PM them. And I did search and couldn't find any message from one of these three here in the new forum ...
That's why I suggested Renderosity.
Member search is the best way to find them
Neftis does sometimes post in the open forum, but does visit, so would see a PM
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/5424/ This was a thread she had earlier in the year, and as the hair in question is one of hers, then she would seem to be the logical one to ask.
Where is the member search????
You learn something new everyday ...
Quickest way to find it is to click on the profile button under your avatar, and then look in the bread crumbs, just under the top bar.
You will see it says "Member List"
THANK YOU!
