Will only save as.

Hi guys, I'm finding that Daz 4.9 wil only save as.  In other words I save and name a file and whenever I save as I'm working the save as box comes up again and I have to name it again.  I'll name it the same thing and it will ask if I want to overwrite the original.  I do, I don't want a new file everytime I hit save, but it's a pain in the neck.  It just started doing this for some reason.

    Put something in the Author field - Edit(Windows)/Daz Studio(Mac)>Preferences and click the Edit button under Authorship information. Save is enabled only if the author name in the application matches the author name saved with the file, to guard against accidentally overwriting content files.

    Silly question. Are you using file>save, or file>save as? If you use file>save it should automatically overwrite the previous Version. Ctrl+s is the default shortcut. If you are using file>save as you'll have to go through the explorer/name/replace thing everytime to over write the previous version. Ctrl+shift+s shortcut.

    Actually now I'm getting an error message.  I put in my ip adress and name but I'm not getting a cms connection.

    Where did you enter your IP address and name?
