I tired turning the opacity down but it still turns out white I have to maunlly remove it in blender so that I can see her eyes.
And get rid of the black board eye lashes
How can I export disabling these two?

You can't disable it in the export options - you could use the Geometry Editor tool to seelct and hide the mesh, then delete the hidden mesh and export but that's pretty much what you are doing in Blender anyway.
Thanks for the reply
How do I hide this and have it stay hidden? as soon as I exit the Geometry Editor it reappears.
You can delete it while hidden, but that may well break other things. Setting it to a neutral, fully transparent, material is the reliable option.
Can you please tell us how to accomplish this in Blender 2.8's Principled BDSF shader? I have been trying al the usual suspects, and no matter what, it remains opaque - while other apsects like specular, roughness, base color do show the expected result, I'm having no luck making this transparent.
I exported an OBJ, collected image maps, and checked the blender materials.
It seems like there is something specfic about alpha data that needs to be observed - I also attached the eyelashes material to illustrate that the texture is set but somehow, not being applied.
