Found way to mix-and-match poses; want to remap hotkey, how?

I was looking at this thread and found a way to apply a pose in place by loading a menu and disabling load transforms. The problem is setting it to the preffered settings of loading poses doesn't make it the "default" load settings and have to still hold ctrl (+/- shift) to apply with these settings. I also found that changing {Nodes} from [root] to [selected] lets you then select a limb and apply the pose to only it and it's children (with Propagation: Recursive); Pose Builder does this with a few more tweaks except it's done through a dedicated window requiring you to navigate through explorer (or os-based file navigator) and load poses using the png thumbnails (which fails if you try to load a picture that's not actually linked to a pose file), plus this method is free and isn't restricted to any particular model.
Note: this option is unavailable for incompatible rigs.
So I want to change the hotkey of Pose Preset Load (preferred) from CTRL+Shift+Click to Click and Pose Preset Load (default) to CTRL+Shift+Click so that I don't have to hold any extra buttons to load using my preferred method. I don't know where I should look for it in the F3 hotkey window and it's not really mentioned anywhere outside that post earlier from 3 years ago.
Also how do I get subscribed/notified about replies in threads I posted in? Unless there's a way to do so, I have to leave the window open and refresh it waiting to see if someone replied .

I'm not aware of any way to make the desired behaviour the default, other than saving a new presets with only the desired properties/bones checked in the options dialogue. You could make a feature request for a preference to change the default behaviour.
