Well, I bit. I just couldn't help myself. He's been in my wishlist for awhile ;). Thanks Deepsea. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy him a lot :).

Hey, Luci, he looks great! Lovely render. I think I may have to get the Project EYEray too now (I've been on the fence so far)

Luci45's great portrait inspired me to try one, too. I used George Expandable Character 1 and also used the Xtreme Forehead Wrinkles. The shirt is autofit from I13 Summer Wear set. The splotches were added with the diffuse overlay channel in Surfaces. The HDRI lighting and background is Chelsea Stairs from HDRLabs, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License. This skin is George HD with some surface tweaks. The Hair is Miles Hair. The necklace is from Everyday Casual Outfit with a Mec4D PBS Gold Shader.

Now that Zev0's Aging Morph contest is over, here are two characters I created for it that are based on George.

What did you use for his girlfriend?

What did you use for his girlfriend?

That's Grotto's Insectoid for M4 (from Renderosity) transferred to G2M via GenX2, with a few extra morphs added to make it a bit more feminine.

Great renders!  The in the farmer overalls reminds me a little bit of the Edgar the farmer from Men in Black!

The whiskers and hair look nice, too.

Thanks, barbult, Greg, MelanieL and sapat. Project EYEray is really great.

Nice ones, barbult and Cybersox (I love the whiskers too.)

Family and friends had warned him that side-effects were likely from living only on rice and noodles for years, but he insisted on spending all his spare cash on Daz Studio content instead of food. He's known as Chinese George these days...

I like to make picture stories for my own amusement. Not sci-fi or magical fantasy but normal people and the real world is not full of Vogue models. I didn't buy George initially although I wanted him - I just didn't have any G3M content so I thought I would be limited. But I couldn't resist the recent sale price so I'm hoping that G2M clothes will auto-fit. I'm itching to build a story around him but I'm having a long wait for my PC to arrive after shipping around the world to my new home in NZ (it'll be another month yet).

I must agree with some of the comments above: more street-normal characters would be so welcome. Joanie has featured a lot in my renders too. We need good representation for the older age groups.

so, i got george 3 a while ago, also expandable, the sumos.. and then somehow, my purse getting thin, i didn't get the last item i had wishlisted - the poses (yet). and i draw a lot less in DS these days, for reasons, so i didn't use him much. but now i have a few things in mind.

anyway. standing, walking, gM3 poses were ok, lying too with some tweaking. however, today i tried to sit him with a normal g3M pose on an normal chair, and well, not really working. his butt is way under the chair. and even tweaking/changing the legs' angle etc doesn't change the butt shape which should be way flatter. i might try further tweaking but i'm not holding my breath... guess without the George Pose Collection i was stupid enough not to get, it's not gonna be very fun... seems to work with him this pose pack is a must.

now, on the promo there is a chair, and a bench. i guess the promo bench from DM's bath is normal standard height? (don't see where the chair came from tho). so with the pose pack i can use standars chairs/benches/seats then? do the poses correct the butt hanging issue or whatever looks wonky with standard poses otherwise?

EDIT: i forgot a great compliment for this excellent and innovative quality character, and the sumos are fantastic! ^^

Your link doesn't work. The ; at the end ruins it. The forum software adds that when you just paste in a URL like that. It is better to actually select some text (even the URL) , and then click on the link icon, and add the URL link that way. Then it will work.

I don't usually have an issue, in Firefox, as long as I put a space after the URL (a regular space, not a non-breaking space)

I'll see if I can remember to try that next time.

i just checked those poses, and by a fantastic and incredible coincidence, they are in a mind-boggling sale for 2.37! yessss!

and indeed, they're perfect, the sitting issue is solved, any chair fits, the other poses are great too - awesome ^^
