Yes, happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!
Dana
My first entry to the contest proper, a "Summer Fun" entry:
Title: Jubilee Party
This June there were celebrations to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee here in the UK. Many people lined the streets for the official events in London and elsewhere, others held their own party at home. Here's a scene from one such party, which got better weather than most of us that weekend!
Free items from Trumarcar: (I was able to use quite a lot of these!)
1. The K4 girl near the table is wearing a dress, sash and crown from the Party Princess Outfit for K4
2. Her flat shoes are from the Shoes and Slipper for K4 set (scroll down to find the shoes)
3. The food is all from Trumarcar's Food Props including Milk Shake and Ice Creams, Fruit, Cup Cakes and Cake for a Special Occasion (scroll down to find them all)
Other Free Items:
The girl in the party dress is also wearing:
4. Gnomie Hair for V4/A4 from Fisty (DAZ PA freebie for Day 6 of the 24 Days of Christmas 2008 - the link is highlighted in that post as "Media Fire") ...
5. ... using the Hair Fit Poses for Kids 4 by France
The girl in the blue dress is wearing:
6. Pollyanna Dress and Hat for Maddie (Pollyanna dress is on the 4th row of thumbnails)
7. Mocassins for Maddie (Registration required)
8. ReiHair for Daz3D's Victoria by Kozaburo (click "downloads" in the left margin to see the freebies page) manually adjusted to fit
The girl with the rabbit is wearing:
9. Top, trousers and sandals from Playsuit for Maddie from Faeriewylde (Playsuit is on the 7th row of thumbnails)
10. PonyTail Hair for P4-female by Kozaburo (click "downloads" in the left margin to see the freebies page, then go to page 2 of downloads) manually adjusted to fit
11. She is carrying a Dutch Rabbit from Wild and Domestic Rabbits from Lyne's Creations
The woman on the left is wearing:
12. Colleen by Moonfire (skin texture only) from ShareCG (Registration required to download)
13. The square-necked dress from Two Genesis Dresses by Wilmap from ShareCG (Registration required)
14. Genesis Bow Shoes from ShareCG (Registration required)
The Woman on the right is wearing:
15. Minx A4 by Reciecup skin texture
16. Genesis Frilled dress from ShareCG (Registration required)
17. Genesis Low Heeled Shoes from ShareCG (Registration required)
18. Koz's Short Bob Hair (click "downloads" in the left margin to see the freebies page) manually adjusted to fit
Both women are shape and expression morphed using:
19. DieTrying's 182 V4 Morphs for Genesis by SickleYield at ShareCG (Registration required)
The environment contains:
20. The bunting from the dynamic Flagline set from Martin's Optitex freebies
21. The skydome and main lighting setup from Simple Sunshine & Skyphere, a DAZStudio4 Tutorial by KickAir 8p at ShareCG (Registration required)
Paid Items:
1. The outdoor setting is from the Dream Home Yard and Pool set at DAZ3D
2. The background foliage is from Ecomantics - Efficient Ecosystems at DAZ3D
I'm not sure whether Maddie (Millennium Kids - PreSchoolers girl) counts as free or not (she used to be free and is a "DAZ base character", but not explicity listed in the rules). If not, then:
3. Two uses of Maddie
No-Count Items:
K4 girl with the default K4 female texture and included expression morphs
Two uses of the Genesis basic female shape
and possibly:
Maddie No 1 (in red, white and blue dress) with included Skin Tone 1 texture and included expression morphs
Maddie No 2 (carrying the rabbit) with included Skin Tone 2 texture and included expression morphs
The woman on the left is also wearing "Nene Hair" by redviper - I found this freebie on ShareCG in June last year, but it has apparently disappeared.
The table is from Holiday Furniture by Ice WolfX (DAZ PA freebie for Day 4 of 2010 24 Days of Christmas) - the forum can still be accessed at
2012 24 Days of Christmas but the download link seems no longer to work.
(Edited to remove some spurious and space-wasting blanks - this is quite long enough as it is!)
Very nice! Looks like they will be having a lot of fun!
Dana
great first render Melanie (or at lea\st 1st one here) I like it
LG.. you set some dirty mind in some bad, bad place with this one  great job!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL WHO CELEBRAT
Very nice and colorful summer setting. You have plenty of freebies listed. All links are good. You have the required Trumarcar freebie. You are good to go. Maddie is a gen 3 character and is a paid for. All gen 4 base characters are accepted as no counts as well as the Genesis that comes with DS4 program.
:-)
I put the umbrella on the hamburger 'cause I could find a toothpick with that little curly colored cellophane thing on top. I worked with what I had. Socks? I wish I had a pair for M4. That would have made the picture.
Would these work LG?

Music has NOT YET called for Unbagged Hags, but I'm gonna whip mine out not while it's so freaking quiet around here.
NAE, remember.
For anyone interested, head morph is a combination of Werts' Very Old Woman (not currently available) and one of the Alien Heads that Zollster gave away at Fantasies Attic for Christmas 2009, plus a bunch of dial tweaking.
Bikini by Tentman. Incubator from WG3SD. The set is from the Jupiter 2 project by hamiltonpl at ShareCG.
DISCLAIMER: Any similarity between this pair of images and the DAZ website revamp is completely coincidental.
Ouch! :bug: My eyes are not getting a rest in this forum lately!

Thanks for the clarification - I expected this would probably be the case as Cho's overall rules post mentioned Gen4 but not Gen3 figures. So that makes 3 paid-fors then.
That is some hag!
ARGHHH.... my eyes I can't see now...

Yeah! Those would do nicely. Seems to me I did see those at one point but just glossed over them at the time because I didn't need them. Thanks for the link. Now, the question is, would it be worth it to go back and redo the render? Hmmmm...
With this post I become an "Active Member." Whether this is a good thing is yet to be seen. Figured I'd "cross that line" among friends.
Any whooooo, I'm looking for a make-up table, sometimes referred to as a "vanity." It need not be a freebie, but it should have lights in the mirror area. If it is one of the "Brass and Glass" kind then so much the better, but any that have the lights are good. The reason I ask is that the models that I have found so far leave quite a bit to be desired. This is for an environment that is a 17 yo girl's room (working class family, widowed mother, only daughter). It needs to fit in a relatively cramped space between the footboard end of her bed and the dresser against the wall opposite the bed, so it can't be like the unit from the Dream House (way too big there). The furnishings of the house are the kind that are culled from the "Oh, I can afford that if it's from Walmart or a yard sale" school of finance.
Any pointers would be appreciated. If it comes to it, I guess I can model it, but truly, I don't want to if I don't have to.
Kendall.
There's a vanity on Trumancar's site... (goes and looks) ...but it doesn't have lights, and it's wood rather than brass. But if you can't find anything else... http://trumarcar.francemi.net/props_tc.htm , second from the top.
(I'm away for a week and the first thing I do when I get back is answer a freebie request... :) )
so that means I have to get busy posting... only 80 something to go
hey ya'll just stopped by to say heller and saw all the wonderful artwork, and yuckwork lol man those baggers are truely horrid :D good job, heres an NAE just because all the sand and sun was givin me heatstroke and sunburns just lookin at it lmao so I brought cool back to the freebies lmao!
Blessed Be,
MW
Title: Relax and Chill :P
Archive3D has numerous dressing tables. Here is the link:

Lonnie
that's so pretty MW I love it
thank you very much jeeperz :D I'll need testers for her soon as I figure out how to keep her from jumping back to zero when applying the character when posed lol let me know if your interested
blessed be
MW
be happy to help out if you need it.
OK, Gals. How many of you remember the thing below. During the 80's there were several low cost (read: cheap) makeup-tables/vanities with these critters integrated. What I'm looking for is something like this, not this exactly.
Kendall
Cool! And pretty! Nice to see you around!
Dana
Poser? Maybe it just likes doing that! I just tried PP2010 for the first time earlier in the evening, and I did something and everything in the scene jumped to the zero position! :shut:
Dana
Thank you Dorsey.. week of naighmares guaranteed :P
Kendall. I ma sorry I do not have a clue.. all the tables I know of are the antiques types...
MW.. she is lovely, but heck.. I bet had a wonderful vacation somewhere warm :D
I don't think there is one out there quite like that one Kendall, but you may be able to ask someone in the freebie request forum to build you one, I agree that most of them out there now are the older style. I've seen a 3 mirror one but it's on a table top and no lights. here http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=49660
maybe you can tweek it around and add lights to make it work.
OK FOLKS...I AM NOW CALLING FOR THE THREE ENTRIES IN THE "BAG THE HAG" MINI CONTEST TO UNBAG THEIR HAGGIES. REMEMBER TO POST YOUR EXACT RENDER AGAIN WITHOUT THE BAG THIS TIME!
I was hoping to get more entries this year, but I guess folks are too busy...kinda like me! I am just glad we have many entries in the main contest. I want to thank each one of you for entering the mini contest. It looks like we are all gonna have to hold our monitors down to keep them from exploding....lol.
SO....POST AWAY!
**covers eyes and runs into Celebi's closet and hides!**
:shut:
We have another donation for the main contest. Lisa has been so kind as to donate her fabulous "HEART OF THE MATTER" botanicle scene. This is a wonderful set, and like all her other stuff, is so easy to use. Compatible with all versions of DS and I think Poser. She is a very nice lady to give this to our winner this month. The list grows!
