Yeah, that's what I've been doing. But sometimes it takes until the next day.
And the hovertank has a thicker canon compared to the original quadtank I'd used last year, even with scaling down. Which is why I didn't list the pose, I had to do far too much tweaking to it to make her sit right.
I go from like today, I get a page not here from yahoo to the lang page and back and forth until I give up, the other day when I would try to log in, it would not let me, that one was easy, log out and re log back in. but today and yesterday's dilemma if a bit more frustrating, can't even get to the site. even after several attempts. Hope they get the bugs worked out soon
looks great Oom, I like the realism it has
Yes, that clears it out. Well, just to complete the subject: If I use a commercial program to create something I use in a render, it will not be counted as a paid item or...? I think of Photo Shop, Z-brush, X-gen or DCC for instance.
I believe you misunderstood the question so the answer came out wrong, so lets forget the it and go on with something more pleasant.....
photoshop is a paid item (I got it for free many years ago) I think most of those post work things would fall under the not allowed thing. I use photoshop to fix pokethroughs and that is allowed to fix pokethroughs, add borders or a signature, it would only count as a paid item if someone has to buy it to get the item you created. If the item can be used free of charge then I think that is ok. It helps to offer the item for free if you have created something, like what I did when I made a character (AJ) for a render. her is the link http://www.sharecg.com/v/45660/view/11/Poser/AJ-morph-for-K4
Not sure about DDC or X-gen don't know what they are, but z-brush is a purchase item so the answer is probably no Oom, I hope I was able to help clear thing up for you.
I am getting confuzzled
 :ahhh:
your funny cho, you make me laugh
Wow! I thought that was a photograph! Maybe I need to look into Blender. That's what uses Cycles, right? I remember reading something about it elsewhere. Is that car the Buick Roadmaster by Nationale7 over at Renderosity?
Dana
It is a Hudson '49 from Schurbys Old Cars at Rendorsity
Yes it is Cycles, mCasuals export script for DS makes it pretty simple to use Cycles. But the script do not handle advanced shaders so you will have to do your own, like the chrome and the car paint. The node editor in Cycles works like Shader Mixer. The script exports lights but you should replace them to take full advantage of Cycles. And it is a bit slow, this one took an hour and a half. But I have an old rig and no CUDA support. But it do look good kind of nice once you get everything together (well..maybe not under the bag) ;)
Cheers! Oom
Oh, I have that, too. It was a freebie, right? Yeah, I have that. 8-/
Thanks for the other info. I'll try to remember it in the future.

Thanks for your comment!
I was thinking of things you use in renders, like textures and backdrops made with PS. DCC, Dynamic Cloth Control, commercial plug-in to DS. X-gen is a paid for tool to transfer morphs form older mill figures to Genesis. You can do the same thing with free or default DS tools.
chohole
 I'll try that at work tomorrow, only trouble is it will probably be my boss asking.
Cheers! Oom
Great job Assasin. She is a bomb :)
More of a Glamor Shot then classic Pin-Up but close enough I think.
Unfortunately Cycles made some artefacts and I'm to lazy to fix them.
Cheers Oom
You are going to tell me this is render??? I mean .. really?? I was convinced it is a picture.. you need to give me some links to the Cycles for summies, or something because I want to do that to....

Is the Real Man going to pose for a pinup render ?
dleelaw, may I aks what texture you used?? I really like her knees, they have this realistic touch of othe colour ... (cannot wait to see her unbagged)
The character is
Annalise for V4
But it appears it is no longer available from this site.
She's nice, a good ethnic character! Unlike the many cookie-cutter Barbie dolls. After a while they all start looking the same. Is it for Genesis base, or is V4 required?
Dana
Doesn't use the M4/V4 shapes but it does require the basic Genesis Evolution morphs plus the free conversion of DieTrying's morphs for Genesis: http://www.sharecg.com/v/58198/View/11/Poser/DieTryings-182-V4-Morphs-for-Genesis
Well...now dat y'mentions it...

Anna Happy Annavers'ry...t'me, dat is. I bin hangin' 'round wit'chu folks for a whole year now an' it's bin a lotta laughts I gotta tell ya. Sees ya' next month!
I tend to "correct" things so I can't really do the Bag a Hag but I did decide to experiment with a render with a more mature pinup model. Listing this as a NAE from the main June entry since there's nowhere near enough freebies plus it slightly pushes the number of paid items.
No more? Gee...then what am I going to do with the other 5 I'm holding back? Y'know, the Real Man is gonna be really disappointed....;-)
Oh, we've got to have an appearance by da Real Man! :-)

Dana
Love this!
Nice renders, all!
Great! So funny, it all fits right in, too!
No challenge is complete without an appearance by da Real Man! :-P
Dana
NAE or not, it's a nice render Zamuel! Interesting pattern on the white stripes on the road.

ahhhh.... pizza, I just made some for dinner. from scratch
Is the Real Man going to pose for a pinup render ?
now that's a sight we all want to see
very pretty Zamuel
guess I'm going to try staying logged in and keep the page up to see if it changes things with the bugs.
Oh, we've got to have an appearance by da Real Man! :-)
Dana
yeah forgot about him, gotta have him in here, especially if LG does a pin-up with him
Oh, well I don't have the Evolution morphs. Maybe some day.
Dana
Hmm...that got me thinking. In the spirit of this being a freebie contest, I went ahead and redid the dial spin only using the options from the free morph set. Not exactly the same due to differing options but it works well enough. Attached an image of the face of the morph (skin texture not included) though the morph is full body.
Now that I think of it, I might be forced to do a morph that's just the head...
That's very nice, Zamuel! And it's nice of you to do it with no pay item dependencies.
