Any good trek textures for Aiko3 and hiro3 clothes?

That's a very open ended question. what outfit are you looking to apply textures too?

Well, name me a few. I am just getting into the 3rd generation figures myself.

I'm out of the running. MDBruffy is your best bet, his graphic novels are all v3 and m3 so he might have a3/h3 based outfit suggestions. I'm primarily late v4/m4 and v5/m5.

    Sorry.

    -Paul

I'm afraid I don't own hiro3. The retro dress for A3 is th best Trek option for her- unless you're doing a TNG story. I started out with V3 and M3 with the first Nova Trek book. Using re-occuring characters, I'm more or less stuck with them till the project's done.

Side note news: The manuscript- written out in long hand- for Book Nine is done. It runs 65 pages. I know the page lay-outs will take it well past 100.

One: If you have an outfit for V3 that's been mapped and textured, put it through Wardrobe Wizard for A3. The textures and maps will stay reguardless of the figure.
Then too, depending on the outfit, some are already made for both figures.

I second that suggestion. After looking though DAZ's, Rendo and RuntimeDNA, many of the content creators and 'store' owners have started to pull their products as they are no longer making them money. V4/M4 and Genesis are the main money makers. Nothing against the 'simon's and GND's but those three are the main souce of cash. Why keep a dead a product around on a hard drive if it hasn't seen a sale in over six months to a year.

i think there was a kind of 'commander' series here on DAZ that might work as a uniform but you're going to need to make your own custom texutres for them. Also ShareCG is loaded with a bunch of hold outs that might be a good place to look for a3/h3 outfits. I just don't know where or what to look for.

Now if you have the Genesis character and/or Poser DSON port with the A3/H3 character morph package you can put any v4/m4 or genesis oufit on that character and still maintain the a3/h3 look.

I did a3 oufit on a v4/s4/custom dialed character (genesis). so it should work in any como. I'll post a link when i get home from work.

In regards to the above image....crap...Lens flare in .....too late! It's back!

and .... ooooo shine oufits. Wonder how soon it will be will 'til shadowhawk1 posts a version for the M4/V4 body suit. He does like to play with the bodysuit textures, eh? (my Canadian coming through.)

Too bad there's not a "Second Chance" site for the other products. Then folks that missed stuff first time round- or are just getting into our programs can have a chance at stuff.

Well, I have been pretty successful when asking the vendor to purchase a product.

But you probably knew what you wanted and who made it. If, on the other hand- as an example- all you know at the start is that you want a jacket for V3, it'd be nice to be able to go to a site and look through the jackets until you find one you want- like a second hand clothing store.

Preferably the former, but I'll take both. :D

And yee gods.....what is it that Jar Jar Abrams has about lens flares? Thank god I'm not even going to bother watching this one, the preview alone was like, "Soooooo....this is what Trek's been reduced to.......Michael Bay popcorn action flicks". Seems any hopes of stuff like Devil in the Dark, City on the Edge of Forever, TMP, Home Soil, Where No One Has Gone Before, etc is gone....since that would actually involve something other than battles, explosions and double-D's flopping around every 5 minutes.....like intelligence. :P

If you want just the starship hanger deck, the only one I'm aware of is at Xcalpro- and he charges a fee for it.

This brings up something I've been thinking about. Hopefully some of you have read Nova Trek 8. Would there be enough intrest for me to bother cleaning up ands packaging the docking berth I built for that story? It was inspired by the Franz Joesph Tech manual, so it's more TOS than the station we saw in the movies. Work cranes can be moved, the ganyway can be moved.

These are some of the earlier test renders :

Hiro3 even has the morphs that you have to buy for V3, M3, or Aiko3.

Trek-related freebies for Hiro3 are rather sparse, though. (Actually, any freebies for H3 are rather sparse.) The only one I know of is at http://sharecg.com/v/22010 - if you need a group of Klingons in the background, give him a try...

double-D’s flopping around every 5 minutes

I'd buy popcorn and sit in the front row for that. Oh wait that would take me away from my estrogen laden graphic novel....and home.

    Never mind the pervert.

But I like the Jar Jar reference...that was well placed!

not me, big boobs do nothing for me, really.....i'll take the Alyson Hannigan or Bee Armitage type any day.
Anyhow, most sci fi's being reduced to action films with stuff blowing up every minute, not my cup of tea.....I prefer stuff like 2001, ST: TMP, Hanger 18, and so on. Only 'action' I like are stuff like Last Star Fighter, Super Force, and Robocop and anime....stuff with action, but still with substance.

And Jar Jar is many meaning when I apply that to Abrams. His boner for Star Wars that he mentioned making the first of his dreadful films he calls "Star Trek", and his intelligence. He's all polish and no substance.

Anyhow, I'd love that big hanger bay. Double that if we can get a version inside an asteroid. ;)

I'm cleaning it up now- taking it from one of the final scene files I created for the book. Once it's set up, I think you could probably put it just about anywhere- Starbase dock, ot an asteroid base- that would be intresting as a matter of fact. :-)

Sorry. That's where my modeling skills- if I can call them that- end. But Ptrope posted a mapped saucer a while back- based on Greywolf Starkiller's kit. But no one's mapped the nacelles yet.

I also need to find some Klingon stuff for Hiro and Romulan for Hiro and Aiko.

I am very interested! I use the Franz Joseph Fleet Headquarters.

I've made big use of the Starbase. I should have it ready either tonight or tomorrow.
