How to fix the Sclera ?

For example, this Michael 6 morph for Genesis 8 moved a part of the Sclera (Red corner) over the EyeMoisture (Blue).
(morph created thanks to [Tutorial] Transferring Character Morphs G1G2G3G8 )

With the geometry editor remove all the eye vertices from your morph, and translate and scale the eyes to fit the morph, then ERC freeze their new positions. Eyes are screwy.

    Ok, thank you !

  • I have no idea if this will fix your issue, but it may be worth a shot:

I used it and the results were worse than leaving well enough alone.

Thank you very much, this tool is useful.

I hope that we still get to see the commercial version of this great plugin now that Daz trend seems to be selling every single character7 for character8 version. :(

    I meant I was NOT buying the individual morphs...just to clarify ;). I'll wait for Singular_Blues :)

Yeah I'll wait for him too!!!! But I guess for Daz that script will be a direct competition for their new business plan. :(

    In fact,

    • Mil3 got 7 adult figures (V3, M3, A3, H3, S3, D3, F3),
    • Mil4 got 7 adult figures (V4, M4, A4, H4, S4, G4, F4),
    • Gen1 got 7 adult figures (V5, M5, A5, H5, S5, D5, F5),
    • Gen2 got 18 adult figures (humans)
    • Gen3 got 31 adult figures (humans)

I imagine they couldn't sell a pack of 31 shapes and textures at a very cheaper price than the original figures.

I'm looking forward to a re-release of the script.  I'm not having good luck doing this 'by hand'...

I would love to get this.  Any progress on the commercial version?

Ysabeau6 morphs transferred, except the body, couldn't get that right, so I created it in Blender (and is very close to what it should be). Textures transferred too, with the addition of a custom SSS. Ysabeau Hair and G3 clothes. Pleased with how everything turned out.

Hey there! I'd like to know how I can transfer Ysabeau 6 to a G3F. I've been trying but nothing seems to work as I expect.

there's a commercial product that'll do this very neatly.

Where is the script to download from agent unawares to tranfer G3 morphs to G8?

It was in his signature, is it gone now?

Agent unawares didn't mke a script for that. They have a pose converter from G8 to G3 so that G3 poses work on G8.

It's possible they had linked to the one Singular Blues was working on and now that it is pulled, they removed the link

  • What do you mean by its pulled? I'm pretty sure there was a script back then that worked. I was using it few months ago.

there were 2 versions of the script and none of them were without issues. I beleive SB pulled it to work on a commercial version.

if you were using the script a few months ago, maybe you still have it in your library, or you have the zip file you downloaded around somewhere?

Even if we had it it isn't ours to share .....

  • Is there a copyright issue with the script or something?

  • carrie58carrie58 Posts: 4,009

It is SingularBlues script only he can share it if he choses to

  • Oh ok. Completely understand that.

There is a link to Redz PDF to transfer Gen3 morphs to Gen8 on page 4 of this thread

that's pretty much it.  very good of you to see it like that, and very sweet of you to say it like that.  :)

redz' method is a fair bit of work to get set up, but it's a very good tutorial, very step by step, because redz put a lot of time and care into it.  it took me three tries to follow it well enough to get a good result, but that's only because i was having a learning curve.  and personally, i feel like it was totally worth making mistakes while i was trying to follow it, because it made me have to think about what redz was really doing.

but if you don't have a copy of singular's script (or scripts, because there were multiple versions from various stages of development) around, and you don't mind doing some heavy lifting, redz' tutorial is pretty much the best game in town.

cheers and best wishes to singularblues in the midst of all this.  and good luck, too.

    :)
