The problem is it is Singular Blues script not anyone elses ,if he intended to repost it ,it was his choice to do so ,not anyone elses.
I agree. Even if we think there's no problem redistributing the plugin, it's preferrable ask directly the creator.![cheeky cheeky](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)
I asked because I thought Singular Blues was still following this thread, but from last posts I guess he's away since March.
I guess I'll wait a bit longer...
SINGULAR BLUES!!!!! WHERE ARE YOUUUUUU!?!?!?!?!? :(
I hope he comes back soon with good news for us. I have SO many morphs I want to transfer. :)
I feel for those that are going on without being able to transfer any morphs over to G8. The old script that was posted and allowed me to transfer my custom morphs and GenX morphs from GF3 to GF8 is the ONLY reason I am using G8 at all. If Singular Blues hadn't even started this project, I would still be using GF3, so thank you SB!
I truly hope a solution shows up for all before the next generation shows up.
I still use the old manual method but I have SOOOOOOOOOOOO many morphs on G3M and G3F, I need a batch process so i don't spend so much time porting th morphs over that suddenly G9M and G9F are out. *chuckle*
I recall him saying earlier that he had some health issues, so I hope he is okay.
Well, last time he was active was this month I think, so that's a good sign at least ;) (according to the info under his profile).
Laurie
Oh my. I hope so too. :\
@AllenArt, check you messages, I sent you a pm
This was the last PM I got from him...
@Singular Blues!! Glad to se you are doing well and healthy!!!!! Take all your time you need working on the project. Just glad to hear from you!!
Yes, be well, father time is a prique that has taken its toll on all of us pre/post-middle-agers, as we lost too many talented masters here already, so be well, as our health is so easily taken for granted!
As far as the conversions, I have conquered most G3-G8 morphs myself using the tuts here, my only obstacle that I haven't surmounted would be to transfer JCM/MCMs over as I rely quite heavily on KHStudio's morphs, so much so that I completely neglected using G8!
Here's a little, maddening thing: was there supposed to be a download link in that post somewhere? I could just be missing it (i.e. lack of styling, or some-such) but nothing reacted to mouseovers.
Edit: So, after slogging through the thread to catch up, I see what's going on. Just have to watch this thread or the store, and see which pops first. TTFN
Singular Blues...
I do not know what is going on in your life but I hope it is manageable and the result is postive for you. I do not mean to inconvenience you. Can you please give us an update with how you are doing and where this project is? Can we look forward to another script to test in the near future?
Thank you for your time.
Hopefully Singular Blues will be back soon with a product erady to sell. I have tried dial spinning some of te G3 characters I want (especially Fredel's Jun character) and just can't seem to get her right. I think Fredel used som additional morphs of maybe Zbrush to make her and I can's seem to get the face right even copying the dial precentages from the G3 character.
Nobody got any answer from Singularblues? Perhaps he dropped the project...![frown frown](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/confused_smile.png)
In the meantime, you can follow Redz tutorial - there are a lot of steps but it is very well explained and the results are generally good.

Too bad there is not a clone for G8M. :(
What do you mean ?
In the tutorial he provides a "G3F to G8F Morph Transfer.duf" but not a "G3M to G8M Morph Transfer.duf"
They always forget about the boy. *chuckle*
I think you can apply the same technique to the males, it's a while since I did this but can't think of a reason that it wouldn't work.
yes the process is the same for Genesis males, Redz has a tut for making clones as well
Cool, thanks. I have started using Asennov's Tutorial but if it fails, I know what I will try next. :)
It is still Singular Blues’ intellectual property and therefore
Actually most of what I make is geared towards the boys, though I’m a ‘she’ myself. The male base wasn’t available when I wrote that tutorial and since then there was Singulat’s script, so it seemed pointless. In fact there’s an easier way to transfer between G3M and G8M using the transfer utility and the UV coordinates that works quite well. And if you have the UV swap product you can also use this method to transfer between the Male and Female bases. It doesn’t bring over the JCMs though, as Singular’s script did, so I really hope he hasn’t shelved the project.
STOP THE PRESS!
Do tell. :)
Load G3M and G8M (or G3F and G8F) into your scene.
In the surfaces pane, make sure both figures have the same UV set, eg. base male.
Favourite the morphs you wish to transfer by clicking on the heart icon in parameters. It works for head and body and individual morphs but not character control sliders.
Open the transfer utility and choose your source and target figures.
In show options, select UV space and uncheck *everything* else except Morph targets, from source - favourites.
Click accept and your morphs should transfer over.
You’ll still need to set limits on your new sliders, adjust rigging to shape and save the morph assets, and the lashes can get messed up from G8M to G3M but the other way round works pretty well.
He hasn't dropped the project he said but only dabbles in it intermittantly about 3 weeks ago.
It needs a lot of testing as I saw 1st hand the last set of scripts he published leaves a lot of unattended problems he should resolve to have a product that could actually be sold to customers.
Thanks for this @Redz! May I ask, how you separate head from body morphs and create separate sliders? Your help is deeply appreciated!![laugh laugh](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)
