wow Wendy that's a terrific video. Love the feel and the textures and the whole setup. The DOF really adds to it. Now how are you doing the out of focus stuff?

I am using the melody assistant perfomance of the tune maybe, the video plays the midifile version

anyway rendering a video with some of those cat props rigged and the midijam footage as a TV screen texture

seems I am dominating this thread lately blush

but what a nice domination it is. People pay good money for that in England - so I hear.

Las Meninas[1] (pronounced [las meˈninas]; Spanish for The Ladies-in-Waiting) is a 1656 painting in the Museo del Prado in Madrid, by Diego Velázquez, the leading artist of the Spanish Golden Age

Well this person is based on the dwarf Maribarbola, in the bottom right of the painting Las Meninas - byDiego Velázquez.

He being the muser if a male can be such?

    clothes draped with vwd.

for the dress I built a birdcage thing to hold it out like a bustle - then cloth simmed against that

Fantastic projects, Wendy, Headwax, and everyone else.

    Here are a few reminders.

    - Entries will be accepted through August 11th.

    - The entry thread will open this weekend, but there is still plenty of time.

    - Postwork can be done for any category, including the realism category, but make sure to include your render before postwork in the WIP thread.

    - Animations are eligible for this challenge in their own category.  Animations can be of ANY length - including just a couple of frames in a GIF.

    - For folks who haven't entered any of their WIPs yet, please remember to post some indication of your muse.

Sorry haven't been around more but super busy.  Stay motivated!  smiley

Heat brings thoughts of water. That's why I modeled a seascape and waves.

another scene and a lyric segment and I can soon compile it into a video

postwork will be Hitfilm express to compile it

I used Sonic Candle to render the spectrogram image series from my wav file

I used as an animated alpha texture in Carrara on a plane,

Melody assistant to compose my music and create the wav files.

and Midijam with Nvidia shadowplay then Hitfilm to get the TV screen image animated texture in previous scene

put my video up such as it is

ended up using Virtualdub and Windows live movie maker

its unlisted was just wondering if I am allowed to make it public on my channel or if I have to wait until after the competition?

    Bravo! Fascinating video!

Vyusur, Love the surf render! Very nicely done.

    HeadWax... that's most impressive. Wow.

WGDJohn. looking really nice. Not as easy as one might think, eh? Nature truly abhors a vacuum! ;)

Spectacular wave and surfer, Vyusur.  If I might nitpick, might add some water to hair and clothes?  Wave, character, and pose are awe inspiring.

Unicorns!  But belt him with too many gamma rays and the rider will be big, musclar, green, and angry!

With an open theme, I imagined a lot of different subjects this time around, but I admit to not considering a toilet scene.  LOL. heart

Sure they are... at least at this distance. Eyelashes look fine ;)

Cool scene. Looking forward to see it further.

    LOL!

Yeah, I think I read the opening post wrong the first time. I've been suffering trying to tax my brain to come up with an idea that represents someone singing muse to me, without actually making a scene of somebody singing! LOL

But it looks like I've interpreted incorrectly.

  • DiomedeDiomede Posts: 15,168

Any subject that you want.  Just post your inspiration for it.  Does not have to be music.
