Just got the email. The business suit looks great, but Ii'm hoping there will be a catch up sale. I want Eyeris and The sheer shaders/socks.... so i hope they are on sale at the same time. I really can't afford them otherwise. Sigh. If not then I don't buy either one >_<</p>

The teens v5 are on sale separately(http://www.daz3d.com/young-teens-5-julie and http://www.daz3d.com/young-teens-5-justin), but not the bundle (this one: http://www.daz3d.com/base-young-teens). Is that how it should be or can we get the bundle on sale too?
Me too. Put in the support ticket the same evening of the 2nd, just got my refund (but did NOT get the underlying problem resolved) only a couple of days ago.
(FWIW, I'd bought the Platea bundle and one other MM item.)
I'm sorry to say it, but I'm losing my faith in the ability of DAZ Sales Support to handle some kinds of problem. I was going back and forth with them, supplying links to the 2nd March newsletter, screenshots of my cart when I bought the items, nothing worked.
"You need to buy the Platea Bundle to get the extra 10% then buy two MM items for the full 50% discount."
Whatever I said in my replies, half of it was ignored and the rest was misinterpreted. None of my questions were ever answered, all I got was the canned statement above. Support refused to acknowledge that the Platea bundle was in the top MM category on 2nd March, and did not appear in the "get-10%-extra-discount" category until after 2nd March.
Show of hands, please, how many other people are in the same boat? This situation is annoying, and needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
Before the new system was put it, you could phone about about an issue and within 2-3 minutes got someone on the phone in either sales or tech support who would immediately handle the question and fix the problem, or point out your own error politely.
Now, you get the hard of hearing who know zilch about DAZ3D, don't know how to spell the names of things and cannot look up anything and are sometimes rude. I found out that the people answering phones are Temps, hence the ignorance about things 3D.
I was hoping it was just a temporary situation, after all why are people called Temps, if it is Permanent?
Why is DAZ3D so short on qualified personnel? Are there too many sales so although the percentage of problems has not changed the absolute number has. Or is it that things are so badly screwed up that they are getting far more phone calls because there are many more questions per customer?
We certainly know that the "New System" was a huge mistake, from the customers perspective for sure. I still have to navigate past all of the Mac downloads when I only want the Windows versions in my "Downloads". How long do we have to wait for that to be fixed? It's a huge waste of time. I think they finally, partially fixed, the "you have already purchased that" problem, though not fully.
All of these things were working fine in the Web Store, prior to the new Web Store upgrade.
Are there some things that are better? Not in the Web Store -that's certain, or the Downloads filtering, or errors of all sorts, but there are some.
The Download manager, which in my opinion, has a confusing interface, but once you figure it out, is very useful. But it does not appear to prevent multiple installs. Nor are the names of the publishers always shown for their products.
There are problems in DAZ Studio 4.5 latest version. Some items never seem to show up in the "Smart Contents". I could go on, but I won't.

Just interested to know how 'exclusive' this is, although I'm afraid it still hasn't encouraged me to 'join the madness'.
I also noticed in the latest (Stop By for a Drink at A Dubious Pub) PC newsletter, which as a voluntarily suspended PC member I still receive, that it says,
"Save up to 65% on select MARCH MADNESAS items with your Platinum Club Discount when you buy two or more!"
I'm mildly interested now - does that mean that if I rejoin the PC I can use the exclusive 20% coupon on top of the 65%, making an 85% discount? But going by the 'rules' on the first page I calculate (standard price) x 0.5 (2+ March Madness items) x 0.7 (PC member) x 0.9 (1+ More Madness item) x 0.8 (exclusive coupon) = (standard price) x 0.252, which would be 74.8% discount.
Which is correct, 85% or 74.8%?
If neither, then what is the correct discount under these circumstances?

The first Ketch-up day add just hit the shop and because I have not been here for the entire sale and still suffering from some confusion over all of this, have had problems with every single order that i have placed and put poor Britney through ticket hell fixing errors cause the cart just would not tally things up when you put more than 1 MM item in there, before I start loading my cart up, I want to make sure I am understanding things here....
If I want to catch up on some items that I have miss out on that have been released by my favorite artist while I was away, and lets say I want to buy 6 items from the store but not all of those were from March but they are all on sale for 30% off the base price.. since I am buying 2 or more of them, and they were participating in March Madness and are showing up on today's list of Artists, will each of those items qualify for 50% off the base price (even if my cart might not reflect that)? or because I am not buying an item that was released as a MM item along with them will I just get them for 30% off each?
If it's not in the March Madness Catch-Up Category, then it doesn't get the extra discount. To make sure, go to the Catch-Up category and use the filters on the left to narrow it to the PA in question.
From past experience those coupons are only sent out to people that haven't bought anything and only work for those people that they are sent to.
I don't get it, it has a great big list of all the PA stores and their items that supposedly count, but Sheer Greatness doesn't get the discount. Female business suit, which came out close the same time, gets the discount...

They don't discount because they are new releases this month after the first third of the month. They will count when we get to the third of the month that they were released in. Eyeris will probably be tomorrow and sheer greatness the day after.
Well I guess that means I don't have to hold my breath, still not getting them. bummer.
DAZ originals currently show on sale for 51% off for PC members. If you buy 2 or more of them (but only those items that are part of a March Maddness sale cathegory at that moment), then discount for each DO item is 65%. Does not work for PC items (1.99 USD items) or Value Category items (2.99 USD items).
Presumably they will be back on MM sale on one of the other days.
I have been having a problem all week getting my additional PC 30% discount on DAZ MM items. Today for the Ketchup Sale it is even worse - no discount at all. :-/

I am afraid the discount is correct so. You must have 2 MARCH MADDNESS items to get the 50% discount. Royal Guardsmann really is one of the March Maddness items today, but Princess Asia is not. It shows a 30% discount because it was released recently but it is not eligible for the March Maddness 50% discount. It will probably be part of the Catch-up sale in 1 or 2 days (but then Royal Guardsmann will not be in MM any longer). You can get March Maddness 50% discount only on products that are either a) older than 60 days, or b) are featured as a MM discounted item (then you get the 50% discount even if they are newer than 60 days).

I am making Britney all kinds of handy dandy PDFs of the store promos and such, screen shots of the ads, will make the purchase and let the difference go into a store credit but Im a little worried what day 2 & 3 will leave me with; today pretty much slammed me with what I needed to catch up on. Maybe I should walk away while I am ahead and take a break LOL... have a little bit of spending cash to go with my PC voucher.
I would sure like it if Daz treated customers a bit more transparently and equally. I did not get a coupon :S Sure is annoying when people get random coupons and others don't.
Another question; this time it is about:
Do I have to buy Aiko 5 separately before I will get that added discount or can I have her in the cart & on same order with everything else? And please tell me that I can just buy the base pack of it and don't have to buy the starter pack or higher. =)
I only bought the Aiko 5 base and i still get the 10% discount.
I'm not sure what will happen if you buy her along everything else. Have a look at the price in the cart and try and work out if you're getting an extra 10% off or not.

No, I dont but my cart has not worked at all this entire time so I have to submit tickets to get the reductions after placing the orders. I guess if it isnt deducting anything properly anyway to begin with, might as well just go ahead and throw her in there and keep it all under one order, 1 ticket & as simple as possible.
I would be careful with buying MM stuff and submitting tickets. A few folks have tried that and been knocked back - but they could have just been the unlucky ones posting.

It's unlikely that one person's cart isn't working; that's not really the way the software works. You need to keep in mind that discounts are off of the base price, and that items < 60 days are not eligible, unless they are MM items that are re-discounted for today's catch-up sale.
It's slightly complex, but it's March madness not march simplicity. ;) I joke somewhat; I do keep a spreadsheet that automatically checks my prices (using two price columns, one for DAZ O's and one for PA items), and I always put in the base ('retail') price, and it shows me what my cart amount should be. It's never been more than a few cents off from the 55%/68.5% discounts. The only 'gotcha' is the 60 day rule and that some items will look like they're discounted, but they're discounted for recent release, not for MM.
Also, different customers get different coupons and discounts because the company wants to incentivize different behaviors in different segments of its user base. So for example they may want to 're-activate' folks who haven't bought in a while, so they'll throw a small coupon to them, always for DO-only items. It's how online sales work; you can't take it personally.
55% off of PA item prices is the best discount I've ever seen here. Not that I've been here THAT long, but it's very unusual to go below the 50% mark, from what others with more experience tell me. I've seen lower than the DAZ O's 68.5% discount, but only in Fast Grab or glitch sales. I think the deals are plenty good, and folks should take advantage while they can.

No. It's not working. It hasn't worked all month. Two Stonemason products that are much older than 60 days, and which are on the 30% March Madness sale today. I add them to the cart, and it takes 30% off, not 50%. DAZ must have lost a fortune this month in people not buying because the sale wouldn't work correctly for them.

50% off is working just as described in the rules of the thread. If you also have aiko 5/garibaldi/skull cove/platea/ iclone 5, you'd get a 10% off of 25.46
...errr... so perhaps one coupon for people who bought very little, another for people who bought a lot perhaps?
