G8 Foot morphs?

    Why can't I upload an image to this thread?  Here's one reason we need better feet for G8F.

    Oops.  Ignore the rulers.  It was just a small file I used to test the upload.  Firefox wasn't giving me any indicator that the files are being attached.  Here's the 2nd reason we need better feet for G8F. It seems to me the real problem is that there's no joint in the arch of the foot.  Granted, I'm not a doctor or in any way really that familiar with anatomy. But my foot sure seem to bend every so slightly at that point when I clench my toes.  Kind of arches the foot.  And that's the very bend we need to keep the heel from getting glued to the back of shin when overriding limits on the ankle joint.

    When I tested G3F and the Beauty Toes (and the FootArch which is part of the base G3F Body Morph pack from DAZ), all it was doing was denting the bottom of the foot and pulling out the top of the foot.  So it's not really bending it in the right place.  Strange that the FootArch morph in G8F just barely bends the sole of the foot  - more of a slight curve just below heel.

    You want the metatarsals bone. Select say the left foot in the viewport, in the scene tab expand 'Left Foot' and find underneath 'Left Metatarsals' and rotate that. Or if you just want a tip toe pose you can use the Pose Controls > Feet > Left > Left Foot Tip Toes.

    If you work with it enough, you can come up with some decent feet. I created a bit of my own morphs, but besides the heel, I think Genesis 8 feet are the best on any 3D model! Here's hoping Genesis 9 takes things a step further, however.

    Feet are just about always an issue. And not just on human figures either. Most of the animals have pretty horrible feet too.  Particularly Big Cat 2.

    I already have NecDaz91's foot morph and Lilly HD's foot morph to fight the standard g8 sausage toes, but some variety is always welcome. laugh
