    I've been having the same problem trying to render animation on my mac with the same results. I've also tried everything suggested here.

    I was unable to install the DAZ 3D beta.

    None of the other methods suggested here helped. I was still getting the same results.

    I hope the engineers at DAZ 3D will have an update to soon to address this problem. I believe it's because I'm using Catalina.

    I don't think this is user error.

    Update: I was able to install the DAZ 3D beta. But, I had the same results.

    So you have the application, but you can't save output? Have you checked folder permissions? Tried saving to a different location?
