Dears - we apologize for the delay in updating you on the status of GamePrint <> Daz integration, we have been working heavily on crafting a solution that will enable the production of high-quality 3D models in full-color printing in addition to our previous (hand-painted versions), the reason behind that is that we wanted access to everyone who would like to own a collectible of his/her creation, we have worked with StarTrek Online game community and managed to make a big success in the outputs and now we are back to our roots with the great Daz community :) the currently available sizes are 5,7,9 and 12" on the Daz GamePrint plugin - would love to start working on your models

We are also going to update you on smaller sizes in the coming few weeks

    Thanks and God Bless you

A $20 plugin that allows us to spend $250 on the model?

    Hmmm.

I believe the plug-in is free, and has been for quite some time. Beyond “letting us spend $xxx” on printed models, it also allows us to get our models processed for a couple of bucks to allow us to print our own models with personal 3D printers. Overall, I’m very, very happy with their service, and would gladly pay $100 or more for a verson of the plug-in that would allow me to export my models directly without going through the service. That said, I don’t mind using their service, as my models are fixed well and quickly. I’ve probably saved a couple of hundred dollars worth of my time by using the service, not to mention wasted print material for models I might have “fixed” on my own without doing a good job.

The 250$ are for handpainted models - you should try and check the full color 3D Printed models

Very, very impressive. Does the first one hae a clear shell printed around the organs and skeleton, or is it just that the outer print is so good it looks transparent?

Just to understand completely, the organs and skeleton are printed in colour inside the clear shell? If so, that's amazing, and whlie I love using your plug-in and service to print my own models, if that's how you printed it I will have to have you print some of my characters for me.

Not to necro a thread but I got the plugin and installed it and I'm not seeing it in the Panes tab to use it. Using Daz Studio 4.12 on Windows.

Window > Panes Tab > GamePrint 3D Print
    If not shwoing there,

Help > About Installed Plugins, Register GamePrint with its code.

  • I purchased the plug-in a while back before I had a 3d printer. I like the idea of color prints, but would say it was an instant regret because I was paying for a plug-in for a service which was out of my budget then, and got nothing out of it. I was and am still looking for a program that would simplify the workflow of converting my library of Daz models into print ready models locally.

  • Hello, I have tried to use the plugin a lot of times with very simple figures and I get the same error all the times when uploading the model: 'Oops! Something went wrong! Please try again!'.

I have tried in several versions of Daz Studio with the same result.

It stops and give me the error when it reaches 80% of the process. What am I doing wrong? Did it happen to anyone here and can help me how he/she solved it?

Thank you in advance, I would like to download stl for the 2 bucks price, but I am unable to use it.

  • Which site is the oops page on? If it's a Daz oops it may be that some redirect was broken when the store software changed - that has caused several issues.

Hi Richard, it is not in the web, it is in the plugin itself inside Daz Studio.

I'm writing this message as of December 2021, and your plugin does NOT work well. The plugin itself uploads correctly to the servers, but something is very wrong on your server side of things. I pay real cash for the prints to be converted, and 99.99% of the time, my file doesn't even process. Your server conversion software gets stuck at 0%, and stays there. It literally stays at 0%, and doesn't change. I've even tested it, I left it alone and didn't look at it for 5 days, and when I opened the order again and checked it's status, it was STILL stuck at 0%.

You're charging people money for stuff they will most likely never recieve. Also, your plugin hasn't been updated since 2019, its definitely not updated to work with the newer shaders and such. I'm relying on your services for a big 3d printing project I'm doing, a very big project that requires a LOT of characters converted to STL. So far I have yet to find a service that comes close to the output quality that your service has. That is, the few times I've been able to actually get my STL from your servers, which was about 7 times out of the 20 or so files I've uploaded and paid for. Yeah, its only 2 bucks per conversion, but that adds up quickly, and you guys obviously aren't maintaining the software your servers use, so why you'd be charging people real money like this is a disturbing mystery.

EDIT: This has to be one of those ironic rules of the universe, wtf. I finally got around to making a complaint about GamePrint services, and then all of the sudden I check my orders on your site, and 99% of the files I ordered have finished and are ready for download. This unfortunately means I ended up ordering numerous duplicates of the same file, which will all end up succeeding, it seems. I've wasted a ton of money trying to redo the same orders over and over, hopefully your team will give me a refund. I apologize for the angry commentary, I've been very frustrated with your service, completely pointlessly, it turns out. I feel like a massive idiot for reacting like I did. I should have just given your servers a few extra days to process my files, instead of freaking out.

I have had a lot of difficulty with Gameprint. Sometimes it works fine but mostly it gets stuck in production. I have complained many times and a very helpful Faisal has replied and always refunds my money. But I just wih they would fix their servers and not have the constant breakdowns. Let's hope the service improves.

Well this is concerning to say the least. No more information on if the servers have been updated to work as they should?
