My only little kid model is the caucasian 3DUniverse toddler. I've put Minto-materials, both pink and yellow, on her and I'm not really seeing it. I wonder if there's some material setting that I turned off somewhere or something, Don't some models use a diffuse overlay or something? Or maybe it's related to the model. In any case, this is kind of weird....
Ill take a look when I get home. But quite honestly I love Minto skin and I love Minto. So maybe it’s just me.anyway thanks for looking
okay, I knew I saw it. Here's mintos skin. Looks like lipgloss and slight eyeshadow makeup to me.I had to close her lids a bit so you can see.... Its okay for a late tween or teen, but kind of looks odd on a kid.
OK, I can see that with the eyes closed. And I definitely noticed the lipgloss. What model is that? Other than the eyelid shadow, they look fantastic. If that's also a Little One, all I can say is you have mad skills with baby renders, even casual ones like this.
She is Baby Rosie from Rendo for Sixus baby. I think she's adorable which is why I made a freebie pose set with her. =-) Mintos skin looks great for kids too. In certain lights the green shadow doesn't show but when it does... Eh...

I side by side shot of Miya and Minto at 100% scale and default lighting.
Examining the face textures of Minto, I don't see anything that's like eye makeup on Minto Face Color 01. Her eyes have a very slight darkening around them, but it is not makeup. If you are seeing something that looks like makeup, it must be an artifact of something else or how the scene is lit.
I wonder if it is possibly the compression on the face texture. Maybe it is just me, but when I look at some of Minto's textures in a viewer, they seem to pixelate more when zooming in than textures on other recent characters.
No special light used. Just default. Lids have a shadow look to me.
She’s wearing makeup. Even in your picture you can see high gloss lipgloss.
Like outrider42 I went to the Texture folder and there is no make up on the base face texture. The lips is all shader and should be easy to correct the glossy levels.
I did a render of vanilla Minto and got the eye shading. I then applied another character (Grace) skin shader and replaced the face diffuse with Mintos one. As you can see no eye shading. So, as I suspected, it is something to do with how her Iray shader is set up not the face texture. It will take some more experimentation to find which particular texture/surface is driving this, my first suspect is SSS.
Maybe someone with more knowledge than me about shaders can help.
Yeah I don’t tweak textures. I just use what’s out of the box so can’t help you. Clearly the pa intended her to be made up,
Lip gloss is pretty common, even more so in Daz characters, so its presense is hardly confirmation she has eye makeup on. Even kids have lip gloss. The new new Miya has significantly more lip gloss, too. It seems weird to me to wear eye shadow that others can only barely notice in specific situations, or is so faint as to make people wonder if its really shadow. That would seem to defeat the purpose of wearing shadow, because at that point it makes you look tired instead of fashionable. Some people have naturally dark rings around their eyes.
And as the 01 face on most characters is typically the no makeup option, it makes sense. The other face textures explicitly say they are various makeups, blushes, and lip colors. It would be quite an oversight to not have a makeup free option, especially from someone like Rarestone who always packs her products with tons of options and content.
I don’t have much more to add. Lipgloss is makeup to me so, not much to say, really.
I freakin' love Hann Mei!
I noticed Hann Mei is made a bit differently from past Rarestone releases. The textures are very different, actually, the way the textures are done is very reminescent of bluejaunte's style in how they look and do roughness maps. It results is a more real looking character, even with the super cute face.
I just got Hann Mei but haven't rendered her yet. I wish Rarestone would release some of the little outfits used in the promos like this coat and this shirt

Me too, me too. I love a lot of Rarestones closing in the promos and always hoping I find them in the Store.
Super quick render of Hann Mei next to Ichigo (sorry I didn't have time to set up decent lighting or background - things are a bit crazy in the Diva household right now). I hope to have more time to render these great kids once things settle down a little bit.

How did you install? Which file are you using to load - the character preset (with an Actor tab at top-right)?
Yes
I insalled minto with the installmanager
I just tried and she loaded without error from the character preset - but I do have some other rarestone sets installed, including the big morph packs. The morph you list isn't in the files installed for Minto, certainly.
I try a doubbleclick and the rightmouse menu merge and load

Does she work? it may be an error that doesn't matter, but I suspect it is a dependency on one of the other sets so it's worth reporting to Daz (via a Technical Support ticket)
