*laughs* I don't mind you adding ly to a bunch of words, I sometimes make up a lot of words as well *winks* as for the lighting, I don't know? Sometimes I take a light that comes in a set until it doesn't resemble that light any longer.. though it usually are what I want *smile* sometimes I just, play around. For Collector's Payday I honestly don't remember if I tweaked a lightset or if I made it all from scratch, but I think I tweaked one that existed. I can check it later if you want *grins*
My chief weapon was deleting out a LOT of stuff you can't see. Building parts, prop parts...anything not visible in the scene? GONE! From the other angle it's a bit like one of the old western movie lots, if you're familiar with them. Lots of building fronts, no real buildings? Used a ton of stuff I reduced the resolution on in Hexagon (That's where I butchered the buildings too. DELETE! DELETE!). Messed up a TON, had to start over SEVERAL things, swore at things more than once, but I learned a LOT. I don't know that I'll do that large a scene for a while...I like sleep too much.
As far as the brain being broken, well, lots of people tell me I've been that way since I was tiny. I just don't notice anymore!
There have been so many wonderful entries, I don't even know where to begin. You all have given me a lot of ideas as to the types of things that can be done, most of them I wouldn't have come up with on my own. Even people saying they're beginners are coming up with really creative combinations, angles, compositions...sorry if it's a cop-out to not hand out individual praise, but kudos all around!
While my number 4 is rendering, I've drawn for number 5, so I can start thinking about what to do.
