Mei Lin 8 or Lee 8 please. If not, then please no more elf/fairy type. Karyssa + Mika 7/8 is more than enough for that category
Sounds like another potential character actor.
Character actors are always welcome in my runtime. You can always dial them in part way.
Would love to see some more period clothing in the bundle. Can usually find a use for that.
Yeah, sorry guys. I'm the one who's been buying all the cute white girl characters. I also buy all the high heeled outfits. Oh, and the skimpy armour.
I started writing that as a joke on the typical complaints, but I actually do buy all those things. Sorry :)

One thing I've found lacking in G8 series is quality hair sets. Maybe it's just me. Don't get me wrong, there are some good ones. But that's one thing I'm buying less of, and not by choice.
Floyd 8 may be the counterpart of Penny 8.
Well if he has wide hips and a bit of a belly (as seen in the clothing fits) I doubt he will be slated as a hollywood hero.

I heard that the next character is going to be Bambi 8, who will break new ground as the first fully double-jointed DAZ figure (whereas Penny was a Hollywood star, Bambi is being pitched as a... er... contortionist, yeah, that's the ticket.)
Following Bambi will be her male counterpart Spud 8, a thirty-something-ish couch potato who does nothing but watch TV and cash Bambi's checks.
Turn off the limits and they can all be double-jointed. Won't necessarily look good...
Floyd must be the Hollywood Producer, then. Needs pinstripes, a cigar and a comb-over.

Looks like I'll be saving my money for yet another month, going on half a year now... Starting to feel we wont be getting Lee 8 or Gianni 8 anytime this spring or summer. :\
Well Floyd 8 keeps us on track r.e. the 'Triplets' thing, i.e. 1 Male and 2 females in each 'triplet of releases'.
I'm still rooting for a Freak 8 Pro bundle! 'Cuz that Pro bundle could have a LOT of cool action oriented stuff in it! (Thinking Expendables, Conan, Superhero stuff, etc.) Yeah, we have Massive morphs, but we have morphs for every other character type too, so I'm not buying that argument. This'd be a purpose built character family!
We have about a year or so to go before Genesis 9 may drop, so I'll keep campaigning in the meantime! Assuming the 'triplets' continue to hold, that'd be something like 8-9 characters out of the next couple of Dozen or so characters...
Floyd is here and, Behold! He comes with a comb-over! Frankly, both of the hairsets in this release are great.
I am so thrilled with the G8 releases lately. Floyd and Ollie and Alexandria... lots of character and interesting stuff to work with.
Since this thread is about the next G8 figure and Floyd is already out, then my guess would be grandma Mabel 8. I hope she is as good as Floyd.

Well, Darius 8 & Monique 8 have already been made. They showed a morph with a mix of Floyd 8 & Darius 8. That's what DAZ Studio is for, to adjust their products for what you want, not to tell DAZ what you think what their other customers should be buying.
As far as Lee 8 & Mei Lin 8 go if one is to go with the improvement in realism & pro bundle quality they haven't been released yet because they are trying to improve those bundles over past Mei Lin & Lee pro bundles.
Anyway, I will be excited to see Mabel, Lee, and Mei Lin when they come out.
I hope Gianni is the next male figure but my guess is Mabel...

Huh. 16 G8Fs, 13 of them already released, and we aren't quite one year into the presumed-to-be 2-year cycle.
The current theme seems to be "The old persons and the toon/stylized girls". The Girl 8 could be released soon.

Dwayne 8 has not been released yet. We'll see. I failed to pick Edward when he came out and now I kinda regret it. I'll have to wait until he goes on sale again...

Have to admit, that was what popped into mind seeing the name Dwayne 8. I would be tossing my money so fast at Daz... but I've been hoping for a successor to Scott and Gianni.
Dwayne is a common name in this part of the country but I think you are right Dwayne 8 is probably the Freak/Swole/Superhero type some have been clamouring for; I know that type would be popular for those making games using DAZ assets with interactive licenses.
I want a 'The Rock' version of Dwayne 8 too!
