    Just updating the chronology here:

    1. The dates I'm listing are the dates listed in on the associated Daz documenttion pages for the product releases. 
      • Note that Edward 8 falls 9 days after Alexandra 8, and 19 days before Aiko 8, I'm guessing that he actaully showed up in the store around 02/27/18.

    The Floyd 8 coupon expires on the 6th, so there's a good chance that we'll see a new Pro character this week. If it's a lady figure, we remain on track r.e. 2 girls for every boy, and if it's a male, or a creature...

    Also, we are fast approaching the 1 year anniversary of Genesis 8!

    I think we'll see Mabel 8 next as Floyd's stylistic mate. I am excited to see her.

    The only figures that I want, are the ones listed in my signature. But as Genesis 8 continues, they're getting less likely to appear. 

    Although I just hope that one of the ones that I want, don't turn up in the store this week... I can't do flash sales and Pro Bundles. 

    I should've bought Edward. At least I would've had G8M's Anatomical Elements.

    It’s really concerning that there are like only 6 males and 13 females have been released for generation 8 so far. It’s like every generation more male figures are diminishing to the point where male releases are less likely to even happen.

    Actually it's 7 'pro' G8 males, not 6.  Total right now is 7 pro males 13 pro females.  And this doesn't count other releases outside of the Pro bundle structure.

    I did a rough statistical analysis of previous generations in another thread, and this generation is pretty much on track with previous generations.  The ratio has been consistently falling somewhere between 2 to 1 (f/m) and 3 to 1.

    yet I've been thinking that generation 8 is literally generation 3.5 hence why there's more new figures that haven't been seen in any generation.

    Now that's an exciting name. And also makes me re-evaluate Dwayne 8. Maybe we can see some dark skinned teens?

    Google Images suggests Latonya and Dwayne are African persons.

    In that case, Monique/Darius family would be extended.

    Right. However, the skin sources for Mei Lin 7 and Lee 7 were so excellent and hyper-realistic that I would gladly wait another month or so if Daz just insisted on bringing that level of realism and quality to us.

    I've been waiting since the Mei Lin 8 fit was first spotted. I thought she and Lee would be released after Monique and Darius, but that didn't happen. That said, I'm OK with the wait if the pro bundles include high quality dforce wuxia and hanfu clothing. smiley 

    And since DAZ has a lot of different "types" of white characters, I'm excited to see what types of characters Latonya and Dwayne will be if they are also black. I was also excited to see Mabel today (if she is indeed Floyd's counterpart), but oh well. Not the hugest fan of the Girl 8 figure (I don't do cartoony stuff), but I liked the clothing, hair, and deals enough to get her pro bundle.

    I hope we see another male soon. I’ve e been waiting for gianni or a Leo type, but I suspect Mabel  is next

    Mabel or Latonya I think. Maybe they will do plus sized figures as 'main event feature characters' in Genesis 8 which they've yet to do. That would take a lot of extra effort to make good posing morphs.

    Just curious, but is there a reason they don't give us a list of figures to be released? It doesn't even need to have a date... I've been eagerly and impatiently waiting for Lee 8 or Gianni 8 for 7-8 months now. :|

    I think Dog 8 should have been a Pro bundle situation, rather than a 'build a bundle'.  At least now I don't have to decide whether to track Dog 8 as male, female, or other in the Gen8 Pro Bundle tally...

    Its a marketing technique. If you saw the entire release schedule, you will lose interest several months down the road when the content actually does get released. With the surprise factor of not knowing what is next, people keep visiting the store out of curiosity. Notice how they have a pattern of releasing content every day at the same time. Its how business like this should be done. You sell people on an impulse. You see something new, you want it now. If you know about it in advance, you will lose the impulsive tendancy to buy something right away.

    And if they had made the Dog 8 into a pro bundle, the threads would be complaining that they force people to buy bundles with items they don't want.

    So now I'm guessing Cat 8 on this Thurday. Also as a bag of loose goodies with no bundles. It may be a significant updating of Big Cat 2 maybe that we could buy as morph update House Cat that at the same time updates the Big Cats?.That would be nice.

    It was weird that the dog was on Sunday night/Monday morning, if that was our bi-weekly "new character base" release, but if the cat is coming in a similar fashion I kinda of hope it is in two weeks like normal... even if it wasn't a "pro bundle", the discount and the breed options for the dog were too much temptation to me, couldn't spend as much on the cat in the same week... surprise
