Umm Why? The only thing you can construe is what I said - there's no evidence that they aren't coming when we still (likely) have 20+ figures coming over the next year. My point is that there is not any evidence that they aren't coming - so spreading rumours that they probably aren't based on no evidence isn't nice and might hurt Daz sales. I don't mean to be mean or rude (and I apologize if I come off that way), I just want to point out that saying something probably isn't coming when you don't know one way or another can be hurtful to Daz and the PAs sales. If someone reads comments like the original comment I replied to and thinks X figure isn't going to be released (and it's the only figure that they usually wait for), then who's to say they won't stop shopping here. Just sayin'. Sometimes being unnecessarily pessimistic about something and stating things like that when there's no evidence to back it up, might be harmful.
I'm not feeling any slowdown in Pro bundle releases. Sure, Dog 8 wasn't a true 'Pro' bundle, but it might as well have been. Now, as to which figures are getting released next, well that's of course a subject for debate. Sure, maybe your favorite character hasn't been released yet, but as has been pointed out by Divamakeujp, myself, and others, we still have almost another year to go, and probably another 20+ Pro bundle releases before June of 2019.
I personally think that the pitchforks and torches will appear if we don't see a Mei Lin 8 and Lee 8 release in the next year, as these are rather popular figure families. But I guess we'll find out one way or another in the coming months.
As for Genesis 9 appearing anytime soon, well it woudn't fit the pattern Daz has fallen into with recent generational releases (i.e. June).: Daz has become rather comfortable with the cadence of their releases lately, and it's working for them, so I'm not seeing any reason for them to upend the apple cart now.

Plus, most people around here will expect Genesis 9 to bring something new to the table, and it takes time to develop and test new technology, so I personally don't see Daz wanting to 'rush' Genesis 9 into production.
I'm betting Latonya or Mabel next, based on recent hair fits. In fact, I was wondering if one of the models in a recent hair WAS Latonya.
There is -- in theory -- nominal evidence (VERY nominal) that Mei Lin 8 will appear this generation. There's theoretically a fit for her in Bedhead hair. I say "theoretically" because I don't know of anyone who has bought it and looked at it and said "Hey, there really is a FHM/PHM for Mei Lin 8 in it!" (The price point is, I'm afraid, much more than I would be willing to pay for something I'd likely not use, just to see if it was really there.) That said, literally not one other thing has appeared with a Mei Lin 8 morph listed, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was a typo or some kind of mistake.
Up until this past week or so, I honestly did think this generation was likely to run at least six months shorter than Genesis 3. Darius, Monique and Mika all got shifted more than a year forward off-cycle, and for Darius and Monique, it likely stepped on some sales for the Genesis 3 versions. That said, the big "Year of Victoria 8" sales that they just had made me think that maybe this generation will run another full year, if only because it will seriously alienate customers for them to have had that big celebration and then six months later, "Hey, here's Genesis 9 for the holidays!" (The real test: will there be a day or two of "A year of Michael 8" celebration. There won't be a whole week for that, of course; that's just crazy talk! A related question is: will the "year of Michael 8" celebration start with a new Daz Cat 8, the way Victoria's week started with Dog 8? [...weird, that.])
Pivoting back to the actual topic: probably LaTonya will be next, just because. (Note: I have, to date, been spectacularly relentlessly wrong about what figure/character would come out next when I've tried to predict this generation. So take the previous prediction with an ocean's worth of salt.)
(...You know, I do wonder: we've been flat out told that the Daz braintrust does not, as a rule, pay attention to what happens in the forums, that they don't read it regularly. But I do wonder sometimes if they pop in and look at these threads, and then spend the rest of the day cackling evilly to themselves about how they've manage to baffle expectations. I'll bet there's cackling.)
I actually think Mei Lin is my favorite female iconic character. Mostly because she seems more real and every day than Vicky or the others. If I render a female it is often Mei Lin.
I wouldn't mind a Japanese, Thai or other Asian base though, in the realistic vein though, not anime. I see no reason there need to be only one.
Well I can say for sure that if I really thought there wasn't going to be a Guy 8 Pro Bundle forthcoming chances are very good I would have skipped buying Girl 8 Pro Bundle and all the associated addons (which was almost another Pro Bundle in itself). So I may be wrong in expecting a Guy 8 Pro bundle eventually but I'll know in that case for next time to wait til both male & female of a pair are released before buying either.

Has this been spotted before? LaTonya 8 and Mabel 8 were also listed. Mei Lin was not, which is confusing. Her name showed up in fits some time last year, November, I think, and since then has disappeared.
Yeah, I noticed I haven't seen Mei Lin 8's FBM's in a long while since that one product.
Though, LaTonya sounds like she'll be an alternative woman of color to Monique and Mabel sounds like she could be another elderly lady.
What catagories are they listed under?
Well, I am hoping for a decent realistic male bundle tomorrow or Cat 8. I don’t do toon characters and Aiko/Kenji is about as stylized as I would ever use.
I have bought into G8 in a big way because of the greater backward compatibility with G7 and previous versions (Thank you so much for doing that DAZ!!!!) but I have way more than enough female characters and content for my uses in the foreseeable future and beyond. I loved seeing Dog 8 and bought those products happily. I would dearly love to see Cat 8 or a male bundle ( either a Kenji as a “mate” for Aiko or a non stylized male) as the next release.
Lee 8 And Mei-Lin 8 would also be welcome but I have pretty much given up on G8 versions of those toons and have just transferred their shapes and skins over to G8 using the tutorials and script tools that have been provided by the user community here. (Many many thanks to those wonderful people) Actually I have done that with ALL my G7 characters just so I can have the options of various ethicities .
Dont know what we are going to see tomorrow but hoping It’s something I want and can use.
I'm not holding my breath. If it's female, I have some stuff to purchase elsewhere. If it's male, we'll see. In the meantime, been using Edward heavily ;)

Wouldn't Mabel be the counterpart to Floyd, who was already released?
I'm guessing very few males are left, and whatever males are getting released will be at the end of the line for Genesis 8. The wait isn't super fun, but they'll benefit from advances in technology and added polish time hopefully.
Since I didn't buy Floyd I won't buy Mabel. I could use them both but I have other Pro Bundle priorities. I think they did a great job but they actually did one of the characters as a lifelong smoker and the constant squinting wrinkles are everybody bit as realistic on Mabel as on a lifelong smoker.

New dress today lists a Paige 8 morph. The '8' may simply be a typo. Who may be comming this week? Latonya 8 ... Cat 8 ... Mei Lin 8?

And here I was, excitedly hoping we'd finally get a Lee 8 or Gianni 8 (or Leo 8, considering we haven't had a Spartan-theme for this generation yet). Now I'm expecting a fourth female figure in a row, and I see at least two others on that list that I don't recognize that are female. :(
I think I'm gonna go away from the site for a couple months. Maybe when I come back, there'll be more male stuff. The daily female-only crap is just getting over-the-top ridiculous. Seriously Daz. We have two genders, right? If you're going to MAKE a male, make male stuff to go with it. Sheesh. Support your own **** figures.

I believe that Paige 8 refers to Paige by 3d Universe. I searched the store for the figure names listed and found them all except Latonya 8, obviously, and Yoko. When I typed in Yoko, the search returns nothing and says “we found no results for Yoko”. Maybe Yoko is a new PA product not yet released or maybe it is a new gen 8 base figure.
My guess for the next Gen 8 family member is Dragon 8.
I’m hoping for Cat8 or a solid -non toon- male bundle. I have way more than enough female content. Too much really. Bring on the men, PLEASE!!!
Well, I have store credit ready for Guy 8 Pro Bundle and nothing else will do since I need a matching set for Girl 8, well unless it's Morpheus 8.
