Well darn, if nothing comes this week what will it be, 4 weeks since the last DAZ Originals Pro Bundle? When's the last time that happened? V4/M4?
3 weeks, I think. Seems weird that it's been so long since a male character's been released. Ollie was out within a few days of being spotted in the fits, but I think that's the last time that's happened with a male character.
I really expected a new character release today. Perhaps they are building anticipation as a sales strategy. Come on Daz3D, I'm beginning to feel the effects of withdrawal from this addiction. ;)
I was waiting for today's Core character, but TurboSquid's sale got my 3D money since Daz decided to wait.

I've started spending my 3D money on other hobbies.
I'll cry if there's no Gianni 8. I have loved the 6 and 7 versions. They are both great and yet very different from each other.
I just want Cat 8. I have enough human characters for a lifetime. Since G8 was realeased, I tend to buy more for the bundles than character. Like I hated Stephanie 8 but got it for the bundle, because, at the time, I had little G8 content. Now I'm only interested if the bundle or character is spectacular, very different, and comes with enough freebies I don't already have. But I want a new cat! Or even better, a morphable animal that could be a cat, rabbit, big cat, or anything else...
Isn't August one of those months were we usually only get one new character base?
Like they are all busy behind the scenes getting ready for PA month.

That hotel bundle almost costs as much as a pro bundle. =-) I want it, but it’s a bit outside of my budget. Wish it had a clean texture as well, that bathtub gives me the heebie jeebies
Yea, thought the same thing. Everything looks old and worn out like from a horror movie. Needs a set of textures to make it look shiny and new and maybe a 3rd set to make it look SLIGHTLY worn or broken in!
The Interactive License Sale is tempting today for some PA products I have and I really don't need the GUY 8 Pro Bundle. Though choice but I'll probably wait for the Guy 8 Pro Bundle.
Zelara and Latonya mmm sounds African maybe and Dwayne well that makes me think of someone around the looks of The Rock Dwayne Johnson
Zelara does sound African, but a google search revealed nothing. However, if you search “Zilara” you will find a Hyatt Hotel in Cancun and in Jamaica, so maybe the spelling of the name has been changed and the character is Mexican with either an Aztec or Mayan lineage. My content library already has to many Greek Goddesses and could use some more diversity.
Maybe Latonya is an older version of Monique similar to Mabel or a teen version similar to Josie. Would you buy either of these, if they were released?

Zelara sounds like a Thorne-style name to me. But won't know until we see her. 'LaTonya' definitely sounds like a woman of African ancestry. Would be nice to get an elderly African lady. But she could also be a variant on the warrior women that we seem to get a lot of. Haven't really had one of those since Olympia, have we? Unless I've forgotten one.
I'd love a Danai Gurira type warrior woman. Or a more elderly African lady.
Maybe they will be capitalizing g on the black panther franchise and be super heroes. I’d love that.
they do seem to do that sometimes well at least some content creators do get inspired by whatever is popular at the time so even if we don't get any DO inspired ones we are bound to get some PAs creating something inspired by that franchise even though been out for awhile and I remember you for one as well as others have been begging for super hero/villians for awhile we are due for that really
I missed the Black Panther movie because the comic book hero of the 70s that I remember was so boring. I liked Falcon much better. Although when Black Panther & Inhumans were in the same story back then, then it got interesting. Defenders was also interesting.
Have we had a gen 8 pro bundle for a super hero character? I recall Karen for gen 7 but did we get one this go around?
Zelara seems to be portuguese (Zelarayan last name is in Argentina).
So no new Pro Bundle then next week will be either the 3rd or 4th week since Mabel 8 Pro Bundle was released. Must be having technical difficulties in QC. That has me thinking it will be Guy 8, Mei Lin 8 or Lee 8.
Tuesday of the coming week is actually the 2nd Tuesday in August.

At least an alien is something new in an official base. Not as an add-on, since we've had those before. But in the base package itself.
