Honestly I really REALLY NEED non stylized childen and a baby. Just give me one packaged bundle each to satisfy me. I understand that it won't get alot of support, but I do need a base to work with. I absolutely love Ollie, Floyd and Eddie. Couldn't get Penny due to funds. Love to see more character actors.
Sixus has a baby for Genesis 8 Female. I just got it from 'Rosity but it's a bit high in price so maybe not something you can go for right now. Should have picked it up back when it was first released as the price point was allot better! There is also Growing up sold here to create children!
Sixus baby is what I use and baby Rosie. Its not perfect. The feet are fat, and the hips are still reminiscent of G8F as the spine arch is odd. Could definitely use a real infant, but I doubt modeling it on G8F is going to work.
Well maybe Guy is the The Guy for The Girl then.
Yeah, non-stylized morphs for younger people would be good. 3DU's stylized morphs are good now that they're separate head/body setups, but it would be nice to get an official Daz figure.
I do wonder how Tween Julie 7 did. Maybe that'll make them reconsider the Kids 4 experience.
You can do a lot of cross-over clothing these days. Girls & boys fashion isn't as different from adult clothing anymore.
Babies are probably not worth the investment in time. It's not like adults can use the onesies and diapers... at least, most adult figures won't have a use for those.
Whatever happened to pdxjims? Such a nice guy and I used a few of his products. I miss him :)

This is the most realistic infant I've found. I've been meaning to GenX it into Genesis 3.
I'm still hoping for Mabel 8 if she actually *is* Mrs Floyd. Otherwise, I don't really care.
People have been spotting Dwayne 8 fits in products. Someone in a thread (this one? Or one of the others?) spotted it as "Toon" Dwayne 8. Now I'm starting to wonder whether that was a typo for *Teen* Dwayne 8. We haven't had an official Teen male morph since G2. We got a *young* Teen male, but not a later Teen male. Given the changes in the tech, since G2, that might be a gap worth plugging.

I had really hoped for Lee/Mei Lin but I don't think they'll show up this generation. I also hope for Gianni, Ivan and Elijah to make appearances.
Hopefully this character didn't just kill off the chance for a Guy 8 Pro bundle to complement Girl 7...

This character really fits with what I think Guy 8 (at least a teen version of) would look like, face wise anyways...
I thought it was a female figure.
I can't imagine they'd skip Lee/Mei Lin (certainly not Mei Lin?!), but it has taken a LOT longer for them to appear than I thought it would, esp. given the early sighting of a ML8 fit.
I'm not optimistic about Mei Lin or Lee. They may release an asian base, but I figure if they were going to release those two, they would've done it by now.
With a few exceptions for certain sales, there has been a pro bundle every other week. With presumably another year or so left for G8, that's plenty of time for Mei Lin & Lee. I have no idea why they're not out yet, but it seems that at least female Asian characters are popular enough on this site that DAZ would want to have a core Asian figure.
It feels a lot like they are winding down with gen 8 to me. Could be we get a shorter development cycle than 2 years. We could see Victoria 9 this year.....
Gawd, I hope not. I can't do this again. I'd have to skip the next gen in that circumstance. I came to DS just before Genesis 3 and so invested in a LOT of Genesis 2 stuff, then BAM! - G3 shows up and after only two years G8. Every other one is all I'm gonna do anymore, especially since males are rather shunned. ;). I got enough females to take me into the next century.

I dont buy female content so I’m not overly bothered by the repeat women’s releases. I have enough so I’m good. A new michael would be fine the current one has a strange face sculpt and could use some expression improvements especially around the mouth and the height of the lips which are kind of low.

There is certainly not a shortage of PA created Far Eastern Asian females. You know that both male & female far eastern DAZ Original Pro Bundles are coming but when depends on when DAZ 3D gets everything it wants and how it wants it for those pro bundles. There have also been multiple PA toon style males & female released in greater quantity than even before too. Girl 8 has been released so they'll be a Guy 8 too.
Even though I want guy 8 there isn’t a guarantee we’ll see him. His fits have not been spotted sad to say.
We definitely have been seeing a lot more Toon figures, and stylized figures, in the past couple of years. Official DAZ Os or not.
Actually, when I stop and think about it, G2 was the generation that seemed to have the fewest such,and they still got several. G1 got a whole slew of them.
Of course, there always have been a lot of them, but until Genesis they were all standalone figures. Being able to dial them into your standard base figure is enormously useful.
I already made my guess that they've switched Lee/Mei Lin's place in the release lineup with Monique/Darius, and that they'll show up around November or December.
I need Gianni 8 or Ivan 8.

Honestly I don't get this mind set. We're only halfway into the Genesis 8 life-cycle (if the past Genesis life-cyles are an indicator of the length of the current one). And if the current release schedule stands we get about 2 new "Daz Original" figures a month. That means around 24 new figures for Genesis 8. I'm really not getting this "if they were going to release ____ they would have done it by now". With at least 20 more figures coming (if the current release schedule stands) it's just plain silly to say "___ isn't coming" when there's no indication that it's not.

I'm all for more diversity for our DAZ core figures, whether race/age/whatever! Some of the G8 releases haven't excited me as much (though the good deals or the add-ons still got me to succumb), but some of the G8 releases have just been awesome (like Ollie and such). At this pace, I'm hopeful we'll get even more diversity than G3 releases. Not necessarily percentage-wise, but at least by sheer numbers!
