got the cube and did some facading ..... look familiar?
Nice - Stezza the Architect !!!
Strange day in Oz news today....
bordering on wacky
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Freedom_of_the_City_recipients_(military)
I thought I'd better do Sgt Blast & Priv. Meekly from two cubes of course, boned and morphed
in the Army Surplus Tank....
I swear, you must have the absolute best cubes available. I could never make any of this stuff from a cube in any software I've ever used.
Totally amazing to me, as always.
-- Walt Sterdan
thanks Walt... I do surprise myself sometimes
surprised though that no one has mentioned what building this facade from a cube is loosely based on... hmmmmm
I assumed everyone knew it was Daz headquarters. :)
You are a seriously good modeler Stezza. I wish that you would become a PA just to get new Carrara products back into the mix again.
Imagine new stuff on page one of the Daz shop that says ONLY WORKS IN CARRARA. Ha!
OK, crawling back into reality now...
DAZ headquarters? Huh, I had no idea, I was straining my few remaining brain cells thinking in terms of popular TV shows.
Yes, he should become a PA. So many of his static models would make incredible props — some toon, some more realistic — for Carrara and DAZ Studio. Even as I'm moving away from DAZ and 3D, I'd still buy 'em to make my 2D props.
And if he didn't mind re-rigging, his characters could become a whole new toon world.

even just obj exports for the others
can even load those in Bryce

Ha! Even the "FACADES" sign is a clue!
Even more embarrassing is that I own the product, but have never used it.
-- Walt Sterdan
Walt, I own it as well. And I don't thnk I have used it either.
Great job, Stezza. It is not just pushing the polys around, it is always making the textures look terrific.
Carrara makes texturing easy most of the time. I didn't realise the building was an item, I was more interested when I google earthed it in the little pub next door! Looks very quaint and I imagine Michael and Victoria hooked up often over there.
plus I've been watching secrets of skinwalker ranch and beyond skinwalker ranch on YouTube.... it seems everything happens in Utah
today in the Carrara Cubicle Johnny wasn't being good!
Bravo!
-- Walt Sterdan
today in the Carrara Cubicle the cube was manipulated into a monkey, based on the flowers with monkey faces.. too cute not to try and model something... a cute cube if you will..
boned and furred
Wow! Absolutely amazing.
-- Walt Sterdan
Another terrific model, and impressive inspiration.
thanks Walt & Ted .. was a fun model to do was that one
Thanks for the link to the Monkey-faced plants, that led to a link to other alien lifeform plants that have kept my family and friends amused for hours!
-- Walt Sterdan
Your work is always great, Stezza!
Utterly awesome !!!
thanks @bunyip02 & @danata
today in the Carrara Cubicle I thought I'd try and do a toon dolphin with cubed splashes and a ball from a sphere
boned and all
in a scene
aha.. got the failed to write to disk error on this one...
Looking good !!!
Hope the errors are not contagious ....
I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but, as always, amazing stuff.
-- Walt Sterdan
lol...
today in the modelling room I used a plane to model a simple teatowel and textured it. Applied a physics modifier to the tetowel to drape over the milk crate whic I modelled a long while ago from a cube
Just a simple teatowel but I bet no one will know what the print on it is about.... sneaky wacky renders
are you a good sleuth
Looks like counties or cities in Australia!
