It's just a bit over half (so far as default settings, 2 hour limit, are concerned) done (using shotcam_01) set to 5120x2160, and render settings of Photoreal (finally got that to stick after selecting it over 5 times and having it chnage back!), and Spectral enabled.  The 'outside' (i.e, the hdri) is looking wrong to me, more blown-out than in your example so I may have other settings not the same as you.  Also it is still quite grainy - probably due to the amount of reflective surfaces.

    no kidding...

sorry I was in town do some shopping with my wife

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/twi5hn4r4s7jqk6/Sierra_Madre_B_Env.hdr?dl=0

    that's the hdri

    I'm endlessly in your debt

PM me if I can make it up or something

Wow, that was really small ...!  Ok, will have another go.  If you can screen cap all your render settings and show me I can be sure I replicate what you are wanting.

    sure

will do in half an hour so

    thanks

    :)

Yes, far more blue to the lighting, will wait for your settings - I'll be to bed soon so will probably kick it off and leave it going, so can ramp up the settings if you wish

I uploaded the scene file with settings might be easier

also, each setting has a small padlock icon I thought I mention it because until a few days ago I didn't know it... anyway only those that I thought are important

updated scene file with render settings

Ok - just double check you want the HDRI not visible?

I can't be off or there wouldn't be anything visible outside the windows. Also all your Shaders are Daz Default and not Iray.

    yes, that's correct

I composite the background later on

is there an option to convert them?

I used the Iray Uber Shader that comes with Studio.

I started a render after changing them and, at the moment, it is 2 hours in and only at 3% done, CPU only :)

I changed the main windows to thin glass, but that was about it.  Took 11 hours to run to end (using camera 5 PoV).

I'm at six hours and only 4%, POV #1 :)

Hour and a qusrter in on camera 4 and 12% done thus far - but we will see how it ends up.

    oops

would you agree better to quit the rendering otherwise this will fry your hardware ?

maybe I try with the other render I think it's called 3dlight or Blender (in Blender it will take roughly 4 hours but cycles has no spectral rendering)

I'm going to have to abandon this render.

    2018-05-04 19:41:26.942 Total Rendering Time: 9 hours 27 minutes 1.62 seconds

5% rendered it said but in the log file,

    2018-05-04 19:42:54.126 Iray VERBOSE - module:category(IRAY:RENDER):   1.0   IRAY   rend progr: 91.84% of image converged

I had to compress it from 10 MB to 2 MB to get it to load :)

Quite happy to let it chug on :)

no, please quit the render this is impossible with consumer hardware

and man, big thanks for trying

but you know, spectral makes a difference damn sweet to see it at least so far

    great job

you really sure about that ?

think about your rig or do you have liquid cooling?
