He is refering to another script, not this one.
Actually not even that.
A lot of figures have hidden morph clones useful for clothing autofit, and you can create your own (Sickleyield has some tutorials on this)
So I applied the g8f clone on g8m and did all the rigging stuff so the g8m looks like g8f and posses tolerably
Will, what does "did all the rigging stuff" entail?
Transfer rigging to shape (I think it’s under Edit / Figure / Rigging ) and then ERC freeze.
The gory details are available in various ‘how to make a morph’ tutorials.
Transfer rigging to shape? Do you mean adjust rigging to shape?
Probably, heh. Sorry, away from computer...
How does one split a character such as 3DUniverse's "Haley?" I like her face, but I'd like to be able to dial it in on a different body - however, when I try to split it out, her head jumps down into the figure's chest because it appears that the FBM moves all the vertices down to their final positions.
You should get commission Diva, as I'd passed on this; I'm now thinking I have a use for it. :)
Those people are using the old Singular Blues script set before he pulled it.
After the Preview, click on Calculate, and again click on the Preview button.
I've done it manually, across generations mainly. It is time-consuming, but effective.
Is there a way to split out eye morphs, maybe by repositioning and renaming the ear deformers? I've had some bad eye distortions on G8 figures back-converted to G3, that even the RSSY conversion scripts couldn't help much (worst offenders: The Fighter for Dain, Nix, Rascal for Nix, Ellithia. Zelara was so bad I simply returned her.) The ability to split those out and dial them to a negative value would be helpful.
The new version 1.2 includes the division by regions, and has the region "eyes".
But if you only want the eyeball to be affected, here is the file zip (D-Former for G3 Female).
To create it, it's very simple, in X-Morphs.
Click Create-D-Forms with weighmap
Click Show Node Weight Map Brush Pane
Click Hide/Interactive
Right click, viewport-Geometry Selection-Select by surfaces-Cornea (Cornea, EyeMoisture, Eye Socket, Irises, pupils, Sclera, EyeLashes?)
Right click, viewport-Geometry Selection-Select Connected(Optional)
Right click, viewport-Weight Editing-Fill Selected, we set 100%
Press the Esc key to return to the script.
And once divided you can apply the negative morph to get the desired result.
Note: The first file zip D-Former onlyeyes.zip uploaded was corrected, it had a bug
Thank you! I am going to uninstall and reinstall the product to make sure I have the latest version, and then try the new dformer provided.
Initial test worked out great, thank you! I am currently rendering out the results on Ellithia and will post that when I have a chance.
.
Here we go!
At left, we have Ellithia backconverted to G3F, with very fine tolerances that normally fix most eye problems. Note the demonic-looking elongated irises and goats-eye pupils.
At center, we have Ellithia with an eye morph created in X-Morphs/Shape Splitter using the dformer supplied above. The eyemorph has been dialed to -120%. Irises and pupils are a pretty normal shape, but point outwards.
At right, we have the final fixed version: I have selected the left eyeball and set the Side-Side dial to 10, and then selected the right eyeball and set the Side-Side dial to -10.
Has anyone been able to get this to work with Genesis 9 or does it need an upgrade by the PA ?
I have been using it without any issues, will post an example when I get a little free time. TD
Edit: Quick 50% example render, forgot how much resources having 3 G9's require! Wanted to be able to use the Male Fibo morph on females, the morph comes with a highly masculine head morph. Used the splitter to create a head morph, which I then reversed into a negative head morph to take out the Fibo head as desired. Left is my starting G9 character, center has 30 % Fibo dialed in. Note the masculine head and face changes. The right figure has my created negative head morph dialed to 30% also to return the feminine features to the character. TD
Thanks !!!
Again thanks to terry_duquette, with his heads up that the program was still working for Genesis 9 I persevered with it.
Was not able to get the "Easy tab" options to work, so tried again with Regions and had success !!!
