Yes, I picked that one up today along with several others. Like L'Adair, I had quite a few wishlist items showing up. Used both my coupons this month today too!
I only bought a few things, Chemistry Lab was one of them. I have so many living rooms, bathrooms, etc that I'm trying to focus on unusual settings. That lab is impressive IMO.

Weird. My page flashes, puts products on there, then fills in with DIFFERENT products. And these don't show up again when I unclick Hide What I Own OR click to shown what I own. These aren't there except the first one. It's funny too- when I refresh the page, they all flash up again and disappear- again.

I had that happen to me in the Freebies section recently. A year or two back, I stocked up on "Dream Home" products, so when I got tired of the expensive, Deck the Halls, bundles from showing up in the various sales, I hid them both using Daz Deals. Then the second bundle hit the freebies section, and disappeared right before my eyes! (I went into Daz Deals, unhid the product, and got it for free. There were 4 items in that bundle I didn't own…)
Well I've held $80 in reserve for a month now for the Guy 8 Pro Bundle and a few of the associated addons, not quite as much as for the Girl 8 rollout but pretty good amount of money for a pauper so I will have to pass on these environment set sales.
I do want to buy some sets, specifically kitchens and bedrooms which I seem to use a lot, but with a possible new figure out tomorrow, I'm reluctant to load up.
I was thinking the same thing. We actually have a tiny bit of extra money this fortnight, so I was holding out to see if there is a good figure tomorrow. Be the first time in ages I could get one if there is LOL
Folks- reminder- that Stonemason banner with the 20.00 off of DOs that were featured ends in about an hour. From reading the sales thread earlier, I believe they got it working again earlier this afternoon. I had to put in a support ticket because it only took $8 off instead of $20 yesterday- it didn't play well with the other sales.

Well you just got royally screwed if you hadn't checked out. They pulled all the good bundles from the sale. Lesson learned. Check out fast when a new character is released if there's good bundles for free, and if there's a better price later in the day on the character you can just submit a ticket. They pulled the Polish weapons, the Raine bundle, probably the Astrid Bundle, etc. And left us with the same tired offerings. I pulled a lot of the add-ons from my cart as I probably won't get a single bundle now.
i had my eye on the oot bundles and someone else i know was looking at the toon generations ones. My cart's been dumped. The incentive to drop the amount they want for pro bundles nowadays, has gone for me.
I think it was all the PA only bundles they yanked. From what I see, it's only DO bundles in there now, including the old old ancient ones. :rolls eyes:
Yeah, I think for the first time EVER I'm dumping my entire cart. They wasted my time and it's going on 3:10am in the morning here, I wanted to get some sleep forty minutes ago and was going through the bundles. So going to just toss it all out and feel good about doing it. DONE. I just dumped FWSA Ethel, P3D Mabel Morphs, the Granny Nightgown Textures, dForce Mabel Outfit Textures, the Toad Witch Outfit Textures.
I get so sick of this. Glitches all the time. Rarely in our favour. The incentives to spend a crap-load of money on new pro bundles are no longer there. They USED to be good. They USED to be enough for you to think, well I only like 6 out of the 11 items in the pro bundle, but hey, check out what I get for free if I DO buy it. If I'm buying a G8 figure bundle, why on EARTH would I want a free Victoria 4 bundle???? Seriously??
Particularly if it's the same ones, over and over and over again. The other gripe is SHOW US IF WE OWN ALL THE PRODUCTS IN A BUNDLE. I could have easily checked out if I weren't digging through bundle by bundle, seeing "And you own them all!" when I went to the product page for the bundle. I shouldn't be seeing the stupid bundle if I own them all. That happens a lot when there's two things in the bundle.
Well, headed to bed. Disgusted and not shopping. First time EVER in six years for a new character release.
Same ol' same ol'… I find it really hard to get excited about a new figure release any more. The free DO bundles are certainly no incentive. Maybe if the bundles included some of the earliest Genesis 8, I'd think about it…!
Then again, maybe not.
I couldn't build out a cart for less than $100 on the Mabel stuff, even though I missed out on Edie, could use an older woman, could use at least some of the bundles (don't own Monique 7, for instance) and like most of the Pro Bundle content. May end up just buying some of the individual products.
There isn't a single bundle that I don't have most or all of the items, so no incentive for me at all. I appreciate the extra 20% off but its all modern stuff in the bundle, except for an item or two so there just isn't any reason for me to spend that much money. I just don't need it.

Yeh Me too. They pulled all the bundles that I wanted from the free offers. Nothing left there that I really want. I like Mabel but I may just dump my cart anyway and go shopping elsewhere.
Looking back on the past twelve months or so, I think it's safe to say any selection of free products like today's, with ot without purchase, is intended to be products wholly owned by Daz. It costs Daz nothing more to make these items free, and increases sales if customers decide to buy the new releases because of the free products. Remember last November's Black Friday Weekend snafu…
The real issue, (aside from our boredom over the same old products being offered time after time,) is it keeps happening. You'd think by now, the store would be capable of populating a selection of free or free-with-purchase products without including PA products!
The bundle deals are good for me since I rarely buy female pro bundles and there are many to choose from.
They also work well for anyone relatively new to the hobby, without a lot of content. As a marketing model, it's hard to fault Daz on the tactic. I'm sure it goes a long way in "addicting" new Daz Studio users! lol
It's only those of us who've already got all we want from the pool of available bundles that are complaining there's nothing new to choose from. (And for myself, I picked up a lot of those currently on offer with previous "8" releases.) I'm not nearly as annoyed this time, as I don't plan on buying Mabel anytime soon. I think she's a great compement to Floyd, but I didn't get him, either. Since Daz decreased the incentive discounts from 30% to 20%, (including the discount for owning a bunch of "8" figures already,) a pro bundle and three/four addons is just too much for my dwindling 3D budget.
Maybe I'll pick them up for free when they are offered as incentive to purchase a Genesis 9 figure…!
YES! Send this to @Daz_Steve. Also, they have to start adding new free bundles to make it worthwhile for those who have been here a long time and own everything from the old Daz bundles... Luckily because I passed on the Kaylee bundle, I was just able to find three bundles I don't have for Mabel, but when the next pro bundle comes out, I will have everything unless they start adding more.
Since I've been waiting to have the Girl 8 & Guy 8 pro bundles since the introduction of Genesis 8 I was disappointed there was no Guy 8 but the Mabel 8 Pro Bundle is on my wishlist. I really like that they made night gowns, hair with curlers, and injected comedy into the pro bundles for the older pro bundle character folks. I could see that apocalyptic kitchen set being used to harmlessly threaten an Andy Capp style drunk after a night out drinking.
