    It's a little bit cooler in here in The City today. It's only 93º (feels like 98º) and the UV index is a little lower. Weather.com has been predicting temps in the 80's for next week, and I am sooooo hoping they're correct.

    Sounds like you guys out on the East End have been having quite a bit of storms. I haven't seen anything here . . . yet, but I'm assuming we'll see some tonight before this heat spell breaks. I know I've had about enough of it as I can stand.

    it's only in the 70's here today because its raining out.

    ...back into the Low 80s here and will pretty much stay in that way for the next week. Almost spot on normal for this time of year for us. The worst though is still most likely ahead of us as August is usually our warmest month

    True here too. We're supposed to have similar weather the next week or so here on the East Coast as well. I'm thrilled, as I've had enough of the high 90's for this year. You're right, of course, as it will get hotter and more humid again next month. :-S
