:red: Novica, I thought you meant you posted a link in your tutorial thread, not started a new one. So nice, thank you all for your comments. I have since bought Taiga and Jazlyn, but didn't want to add their shapes until I got into market. I didn't want to delay the release, so you might expect an update rather soo... shortly. Might wait a little bit longer, to see if anything comes up that needs fixing, but yeah I want to add the shapes to the gene pool.

I posted in both, lol. A lot of newbies don't know about the Art Studio section because it's not in the forum drop down menu (wish they'd change that btw) and I thought these were just so darned overwhelmingly cute I posted in both places. Besides, I had a list of products highlighted in my art studio post this morning about which products I wanted to point out (have quite a few of them and recommending them) so included it there, and here.

Makes me mad though- I spent about a hundred dollars this morning THEN get the GIA coupon for $6 off! So I'm filing a support ticket.

Slosh- curious- which set of eyewear is your favorite?

Oh, yeah, I hate when that happens, too. Luckily, my paycheck didn't post until this morning, so I didn't get a chance to spend any money before the coupon showed up in my inbox.

My favorite for females is "Slim Frames", which is the rectangular with the tapered arms. After that, I like the Browline for males (the half-frame glasses). I would love to add some styles in the future, just haven't worked out any new ones.

Thanks, Kattey. The bodysuit is not likely to happen, now. The whole project just went in a direction I never intended. Suit looks good, but if I tried to release it, DAZ would find it to be a very, very similar copycat of SuperSuit, which would never get accepted. So, I will probably use it as a base for creating other clothing.

You'd never know for sure unless you try. After all, there are a lot of samey bodysuits for the same figures, so similarities seems to accepted. And if DAZ3D won't take it, I'd buy it from Renderosity/RDNA.

Can't wait. Post a render, if you are up to it. I saw your Gia render in another thread, and I like the way you work.

I'd like to see one of YOUR renders with folks wearing them- I seem to recall there was a thread on these glasses, wasn't there?I think it was people testing them out, or am I delusional? Did you post any images in the thread if there was one? I'm in the middle of doing a video tutorial and I am NOT rendering today (I keep getting sidetracked) but do want to see them on someone. (Maybe they'll pick your favorite ones, lol)

That original thread is here: SPEX for Genesis and then there is the official thread, which has the promo pics and a few other test renders, here: Available Now: SPEX for Genesis

Here's my first render with them. It's Gia for G2F so used the SPEX2 smart prop version.

    full-size version will be a bit better - http://fav.me/d6ec4gq

Checked out the dA version. Gia is cool cuz she's tough, but still a lady.

Just bought it, but strangely enough there is no download link (except the download manager one, which I can't use - Poser user here, don't hit me).
Is that some oversight about to be fixed, or should I file for a refund? I'd really like to keep the product, nice glasses are very rare.

I think you can still download the one that says DIM as it is just like a regular zip file. I would suggest unzipping it into a temp folder, open the content folder and then copy and paste what is inside the content folder into your Poser folder maybe :-). Hope this helps a little...hopefully someone who knows a little more than me can correct my mistakes if that is not the way to go :-(. Have a wonder weekend.

Can you please walk me through the procedure? When I click on any of those "Download Manager" links (the only ones I have), I get an error message like "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (daz3dim) isn't associated with any program".

I know how to handle a zip, but I need to be able to get my paws on it first...

Do you not have a blue button next to the green DIM download that says "Manual"? Honestly, I didn't create Poser files for this, as I don't have Poser anymore. I believe DAZ created DSON files for it, though (still don't know what that means). I posted a screenshot of my Product Library so you can see the button I am referring to.

No, there is no blue button, only the green (DIM) ones...
I fear since you didn't give them a specific file, they just dropped the non-D|S download... :-(

Could you fix this? I can wait, refund delay is (was?) a month IIRC, and I really want those glasses...

This is my first product, so I don't really know the ins and outs of how the product pages work. I might be the only person with the blue button since I am the artist. I'm not sure what I can do to fix it. Would it be too much trouble for you to send me a screenshot similar to the one I showed you? You can do it via PM if you don't want to share it publicly.

Also, if any other buyers have used this in Poser and can confirm that it work there, could you let me know? As I said, I did not create any Poser files, but it is my understanding that DAZ often does create them when they are not there. Don't quote me on that, because I am not positive.

Well, it changes all the time. Congrats for your first product BTW, and sorry to be the troublemaker.

    Done (above).

Well, it would/should, if people managed to download it.
The problem is all D|S users have been coaxed towards the Download Manager (which is a good idea initially, one I was advocating myself almost half a dozen years ago in the forums), but this here is a D|S only tool, fitting only a specific workflow, which happens to not be mine. :-/
My render computer doesn't have an internet connection (why would it?), and the computer I download with is a work computer, one I certainly wouldn't want funny apps to wreak havoc upon. So I need a file I can transfer to my rendering computer.
Zip is fine, no folder structure is fine too, I know my way around Poser files, I can even edit them to fix paths if needed. But I need to get to the raw data somehow.

Is there any reason you might not download DIM and install it that way? I know that not everyone likes DIM, but it might be the only option. I'm checking with some other people to see if this is normal or not.

Yep, cross posting for sure. I understand now why you need the manual file. I wish someone who has bought this can tell me if they have the blue button or not. Like I said, it may be that I have it only because I am the artist, but I can't verify that at this time of the night.

Edit: I just spoke to someone who has SPEX and they have both buttons in their Product Library. I guess you will need to submit a ticket. I really hate giving that as an answer, but I can't do anything else about it.

Yes, I understand this isn't the answer you'd like to give... :-)
I tried with another browser, in case my Firefox was somehow faulty (though, after 9 years?), and it's not a browser issue, I just don't have any blue "manual" link in my account. *sigh*

I'll contact support Monday. Thanks for your time.

This may be a stupid question, but have you tried clicking where the blue button is supposed to be? It's possible that the button image hasn't loaded for some reason, but the link could still be there.

Oh, very good question, Murgatroyd. I've had that happen with other programs before, and didn't think of it here. Fingers crossed... Friggin' browser keeps flaking on me again. Have to hit submit 3 times to get the post to go. Grrr

Not stupid at all; I did try, but there truly isn't anything there...
