Okay, here's a test of the new hair product by Jepe's Bodyhair Project 78. I really like it better on Boyd. It looks really natural. I had to make it a bit lighter on Owen, due to the it looking a bit painted on against his white skin. I do wish there were more color options. The brown is a bit red looking, but black is too dark for Owen.
The Number 02 outfit with texture add-on. I really like the modeling of the shoes, jeans and top, but I think the texture has weird crisscrossing lines throughout looks-odd. I also can see some texture oddness in the blue texture. If you look a the thigh, there is a weird seam. Overall, kinda disappointed in this one.
I just picked up the No 1 outfit by the same vendor. I love that it's all seperate bits and the morphs are fantastic.
I like the number 1. I also like the modelling on number 2. It comes with a cute millenium puppy morph too! =-) But I think the textures on number 2, are a bit odd. Knowing this vendor, though- there will be many more textures!
Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to more of their work.
The Alpha Team outfit is pretty nice. I particularly like the black basic texture it comes with. The expansion has several other color options to mix and match. There are also a number of adjustments, so you can fix problems with fit.
By default I found a lot of clipping with this outfit. The belt and elbow pads in particular, however by using the adjustments helped. This is a nice basic with a bit of fantasy armor element.
The underarm hair looks very natural here.

I wanted to try to see if I could make a sexy android body with what I have in my runtime. Occasionally Boyd does take on a fully android body, although he prefers to fly.
The alphas from his guild do have a club for Alphas where occasionally the brains enjoy being like everyone else. So they go there, in humanoid android or other bodies to unwind. I'm not sure how often Owen and Boyd attend the Guild's club. Mostly they tend to mingle with humans, but, I think Boyd's friends tend to go there, because they feel more comfortable with their own kind.
I purchased the ArcWar cyborg parts a while ago, but haven't used them yet. I'm not sure I like the transition areas where the shoulders meet the backs of the shoulder blades. The feet and hands are also strangely small on the male figures, and there is some distortion when the limbs twist. I also had a lot of trouble deciding what Boyd Bot should wear.
So he gets men's skimpwear.

I guess its tough to depict that Boyd is a body flexible as he is, since he chooses mostly to be scoutbots or human. But Boyd can pilot any number of mechanical vehicles and the vehicles tend to become more complex the older he becomes.
Owen is not much inclined to androids in the romantic sense. so perhaps thats one reason he has not taken this form before. But what he means by that is that he's not interested in a machine intelligence. A machine with a human mind is fine but will take getting used to.
So now I'm paitiently waiting to see Owen "interact" with this incarnation of Boyd!

I like Boyd much better lavender & raspberry. I always wondered why the dum dums that the bank gives me raspberry dum dums are blue.
Boyd will definitely sport some different bodies in the future. I just need to figure out a gimick to make him recognizable as Boyd no matter what body I stick him in. Glad you like him. I'm not sure about the cybernetics though. They don't move well and become distorted easily. He may be just blue rasperry.
Boyd and Owen go running together. Owen has had his cast off, and so is still a bit skinny.
I remember when the sister of a childhood friend got her cast off; it was awfuil her leg was so skinny & hairy but she developed muscles on it eventually.

minor aside, I've always found it interesting that a woman in a g-string from the back is a-ok, but a guy is forbidden.

Thanks about Boyd's hair. It is actually a combo of 3 hairs, Matthew Hair, colin hair (The ponytail), and some sideburns from a gen 2 set. I have yet to find really short edgy male sideburns. Most are rather thick.

Ironically, Owen has always wanted longer hair. But his career doesn't permit for longer hair. So he just gloms off of Boyd's. He gets in enough trouble for the stubble, which he gets reported for every so often- even though he has a medical exemption, and shaves regularly.
LOL, I remember some guys in the military getting medical exemptions for their beard stubble.
Yes, you can't beat genetics. Even if you shave in the morning , and at the next opportunity, some people will have beard stubble. Marines of the future are just as fussy about being clean cut as now.
Owen looks.... Odd.. With no stubble. I will say that. More youthful entirely.
