Anybody actually receive the $5 coupon that was promised for filling out that last survey?

    Not me.

Maybe they didn't like all of the "Carrara" responses.

I got it around noon today.  I don't remember exactly, but I think I suggested more Poser compatible content, which means Carrara compatible also.  I doubt that will happen since many vendors say Poser content is not seeling nearly as well as DS.  But they asked me ...

My PC+ membership just ran out.  Not the best timing, but it is my own fault.

After 3 years, it may be time to take a break.

Is there life after PC+? smiley

sure is...  I haven't been there for over two years yes

I guess that's why the survey came out... lots are probably leaving it

the passenger pigeon was mainly found in USA I think

in Oz we have several types of native wild pigeons

    the Wonga

    the Bronze Wing

    and the White Headed pigeon

and all are found in my area, mostly the bronze wing and the white headed pigeons. The wongas are hard to spot mostly.

I reckon the bronze wing is probably the closest looking to the passenger pigeon.. I'd reckon the white headed and wongas are a lot larger.

    Wonga

    Bronze wing

    White Headed

For me, the Tourbillon set is awesome.  I've used it more than any other HDRI in Challenge renders, mostly the lower resolution options.

I just bought this item:  https://www.daz3d.com/how-to-extend-scenes-with-home-made-hdris    Anyone else have it?  I tend to try and find the freebies online as I really need natural unpopulated scenes. I find it hard to recocile the scale of the 3D scene wtih the distant hills or mountains, etc that come with stock HDRIs.  I hope to get my computer back after the weekend. This will be one of the first things I look at.

Diomede  We just came back from NH and Maine.  Didn't get as far as Preque Isle this time, but did get to Mt Desert Island after visiting N Conway in NH.  Weather wasn't very nice in ME... it was gorgeous in the White Mountains, though.

    There is spare money yes

Not if you like buying more for the library like I do. I've learned that PC+ is one little gift to myself that I never want to live without anymore wink

Even if I don't buy, I can still get up to $6 in DO for free each month, plus the PC+ freebies. Might not be much, but it does add cool new items for me to kitbash with.

    Sorry I missed y'all.

Got some bad family news so may have to cut my time in New England short.  Will need to be in Philadelphia but the timing is not set yet.  Will see if it is worth it to return to Maine, or just keep heading South.  The Starks are always right, winter is coming.

Yum...horseradish cream.... I wish I'd known about making plain prepared  horseradish in a bottle creamy when I lived in the US. It's amazing stuff on roast beef or even lamb.  At Christmas we do a rib roast and I grate and make my own then. We do some turkey, but prefer the beef. Have to eat turkey the rest of the time to stick to our heart healthy diet crap.

ETA  I had a friend who could eat chili paste and Chinese hot mustard by the spoonful... yikes!  surprise

  • WendyLuvsCatzWendyLuvsCatz Posts: 38,202

I have eaten chili paste from a jar, it was mild though and those pickled long skinny peppers

this is premade horseradish cream I use it on my corned silverside sandwiches

grumpy with Trimble for hogging the 3D warehouse making only later skp format downloadable so you need to pay $300 PA for Sketchup pro

none of my old importers, programs or plugins work now

I can load them in Twinmotion thats about it

the fee would almost be justifible if so many of the models were not utter crap

crisp radish good for a tongue tingle

cant help but wonder how george is enjoying his hairy cucumber. with balsamic vinigrette or olive oil.

in other frustrations, toe morph i made works in DS but not carrara.  those verts just no wanna move
checked twice, is not a rigid group problemo.  but atleast it isolated the vert numbers for further investigation.

Did you try adjusting the rigging to the mesh?

no i didn't  ??  do you mean detach the skeleton and re-attach?

    nother thing i don't understand,

the deltas in the morph came to 64 count.

for the morph i selected 10 pollies on 3 toenail beds. using loop
    10 x 3, should be 4 verts pere polly
i should have 120 count in the delta

but the 64 verts aren't moving.

so, i should try deleting the toe_2 bone and re do it?
