    Did I miss something here.

I thought the winner of the last challenge got to pick the theme for the next one.

    Who picked this one?

Not seen the winners of the Beyond The Horizon yet.

Sorry Stuart,  we changed it when the rules changed a bit, when I couldn't cope without some help.     We now have a list of possible themes, all provided by others   and I just choose one
apoc leaves the voting thread up for about 2 weeks before he announces the winners,  so plenty of people get a chance to vote.  It ran a little late getting it up this time as Apoc had real life things to deal with (like moving house)    https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/282111/31st-contest-voting-poll/p1

First entry: THE ANKOU RIDES AGAIN

Remake of a Carrara pic. The Ankou is a kind of breton reaper: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankou

Didn't like the look of the regulation scythe so I replaced it with a war scythe, like the one used by royalist peasants during the french revolution.

Credits: Serge Marck, Predatron, Dinoraul, ShaaraMuse3D, some others for different tombstones...

Henryhor: Great idea and very well unlit. laugh

Stuart: The surprise in those woods isn't a teddybear's picnic.

    Awesome lighting!

Henryhor: Looks very scary. Bit dark.. Oh, but, hey, that's the theme, isn't it wink

StuartB: OK, I'n not going there! But. there appears to be something in the foreground, that I cannot really see on my screen. Maybe a bit more light on the foreground?

Horo: Very well lit room. But, you don't need those books anymore, do you?

Hansmar. It's Sarah's toy doll and her tricycle.

She obviously did'nt listen to her mum.

    Henryhor...never heard of the Ankou.

Weird, Stuart....wondered wtf is the weird-looking thing midway.

    Horo, wonderful view...so relaxing...share a beer with you any-a-time...forget the cuppa....when appropriate.

    Stuart...ah yes

Horo...love the light (the Bryce books are never ones I would read - so boring devil, but the anbience of a strong vodka...screew the tea, discussing so no problem cheeky).

@ StuartB: hope there will be a happy end for Sarah. Maybe the tricycle should be closer to the camera, so one can recognize what it is.

@ Horo: outstanding, except that strange beverage

Thanks to all for the comments. Wish it could be darker.
