Let's see if this thread dies because of me. I feel like I do kill thread often.
Why?
I find myself watching a lot of those text to speech narrarated Reddit videos on YouTube lately
the comments are as interesting as the videos
I am reassured a lot by many that I am not as much of a weirdo as I thought I was, that many people are much weirder and many others are very much like me
I had a dream of a critter that was a mixture of a caterpillar and a ferret.
edit: the dream was wierd.
Imagine that climbing up inside your trousers
Eek!
mine eyes are weary
I posted on the "Render some character" on July 5th. It's been two days and no one has posted yet. :(
posting it there was the mistake.

Hamster wants food but umbrella is in the way. Hamster does not mind because hamster is hungry.
...so I've killed a lot of threads lately, feel like a pro
Amsterdam is not that far from you I think, being Australian all of Europe seems close to me
you can find a pro there
windowshopping is free
Not far at all, two weeks by foot, at the most=) Yeah Amsterdam is nice, but when I go there I shop everything but windows;)
I'd get wet if I tried to walk to there. And it would take a bit more than two weeks. But I have been there, three times. First time stayed in a fancy hotel in Dam Square across from the palace. Second time stayed on the Amstel river in a houseboat. Third time stayed in one of those tall narrow canal side buildings that lean sideways but had to navigate a leaning tight spiral staircase carrying luggage and the leaning shower floor in the room was a trip* Didn't do much shopping or window gawking but did find my type of nightspots.
* Whoever put the shower drain in the middle of the shower floor didn't understand much about gravity. No, it wasn't that bad, the drain was actually in the low corner but not quite low enough.
First time I went there was as a tour manager with a Finnish band doing a European tour. I remember driving downtown and finding our hotel, next thing I remember is waking up in Copenhagen a week later
Back in '82 on our way from Florida to Denver, Colorado we stopped in New Orleans for a day and wandered the various bars in the "French Quarter" area. Long after the sun went down, we were long past finding our car but fortunately my other half ran into an old friend of his who was now a bartender in one of our type of nightlife places so we were treated to far more drinks than we needed. I have hazy memories of us both being picked up by a Colt model and staying in his apartment in one of those curved decorative iron railings that overlook Bourbon Street. My other half and I woke up the next morning naked, uncovered, in the warm fresh air on the balcony. No idea what happened during the night.
One thing I do remember about New Orleans is that while driving in the old area we crossed several consecutive one-way streets all going the SAME direction which were opposite the way I wanted to turn.
...many of the side streets out in the Garden and Uptown districts are so narrow only one car can fit down them, and they have "two way" traffic. Was really fun bombing down them in my friend's big ol' 1970 Dodge Polara.
Philadelphia is like that too. Carriage lanes from the 1700's
bourbon street
and...?
...rings a bell...
...been there too.
People my age will get a kick (and a laugh) out of this.
That’s cool
I may have killed the “Is it possible to watch a vendor?” thread, with my continuation of excerpts from my “Field Guide To Vendors, Content Creators And Other Weirdos”...
Well as long as they don’t notice the van with the dark tint
