...and so apparently are the brains of some motorists as well. On my short walk home from the market saw four cars that ran red lights (three at the same intersection) while the light for the street I was on was green with the walk signal.
I blame it on a combination of the day and phase of the moon as motorists here always seem to drive exceptionally stupid when it is full.
On the subject of misheard words and phrases... I was just thinking today about how, when I was a little child of perhaps 5 or so, I literally thought "bubonic plague" was "blue bonnet plague," and back then I was trying to figure out what old wrap-around ladies hats had to do with deseases, but at the same time got it into my head that if I saw a shadow somewhere that sorta LOOKED like a person wearing a bonnet, that that was the universe trying to warn you there might be blue bonnet plague germs over there, so avoid that part of the room for the time being. 0o
Yeah, kids get some really goofy ideas, since they haven't really figured out how the universe fully works yet, so they fill in the gaps in the details with out of kilter stuff that only makes sense to a little-kids' brain.

I tried a Zbrush sculpt of my head, the latest selfie does not really give the whole ugly picture but I had some bald ones I used as guides
