..OK here are all of Smay's Genesis characters with the Young teen morph applied.
Stalker girl looks pretty good and I really like how Nata turned out (albeit with a bit of breast and hip reduction).
Used the YT5 Julie map on Stalker Girl, and Aiko5 Map on Nata. Mavka has the Sprig skin map.
Bus Stop Pest
...here's what happened with my Genesis version of Leela when I applied the 10 year old morph. Again she came out much younger looking which Is most likely due to the fact I used Teen Julie as the base and increased the Young body shape and face morphs as well as adjusting the scaling to make her look more like a pre teen..
I think she came out rather well for a 6 - 7 year old.
No other adjustments were made save for flattening her chest. as she still had small breasts.
I like that. Who is the figure in the background, on the bench?

I think it's Teen Jaderail lurking about.
That's exactly what I thought too, tjohn. He does get around.

...thanks. That's Smay's Zombie for Genesis with the young teen morph.
Redid a couple of my kid characters using the Growing Up morphs... have I said thank you for putting these out for Genesis 1? Thank you, thank you, thank you. They look so much better now, like real kids instead of miniature adults! *does the excited dance* This may be even better than -- okay, it's not better than the skin overlays, because I have more older characters, but seriously. I think I need to just get a pipeline from my credit card to you. :)
ETA: It occurs to me that without context this render looks a bit sinister. To provide that: this scene directly follow the uttering of the words "okay, honey, it's bedtime."
Lol, you're very welcome:)
Ohhhh! my favorite figures look awesome!!
Growing up for Genesis is a great idea! I'm surprised we didn't get something like this sooner.
This is a DAZ Studio render that I brought into Corel Painter 12, which is my brand new toy. The traditional media artist in me was getting bored by the old CG 'look' that always tries to be 'real' without ever quite succeeding. I know I'm barely scratching the surface with what is possible in Painter (I've only had it about a week), but at least I know that I can also use DAZ Studio in my creative efforts.
That's a really wonderful portrait Dave! I have Painter 11 but never use it. I'm such a software junky! lol
AlienSkin has a set of great natural media simulation filters for Photoshop called SnapArt They've announced a forthcoming upgrade, but I don't know for sure if it's shipping yet. Runs in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Maybe some other programs as well, but Painter is the on that people use when they want to do it all themselves.
Here's a SnapArt oil painting. (The character was done with regular dial spinning. I hadn't had a chance to install Growing Up and play yet.
Thanks! :) I must say that Painter is lots of fun. It isn't meant to replace Photoshop or Corel's own photo manipulation software, though. I bought Fractal Design Sketcher way back in the day and hardly ever used it. Of course, this time around I have a nice new Wacom Inuos Pro tablet, which is an awesome tool for artists. There are some great videos on YouTube (check out Painter artist John Malcolm) for inspiration on what can be done with Painter. Since you've got version 11, there's probably not much that you're missing in terms of functionality. The base version of 12 that came on the DVD seemed really buggy, but after applying the updates to 12.2, it works better and now has improved tablet touch support for rotating and moving the canvas around on the screen with just two fingers. Version 13 (or X3) adds a few things that may be nice, but aren't worth an extra $150 to me.
@ JOdel - Nice portrait! I've got Photoshop CS2 because I can't afford to buy the latest version. Maybe I'll buy Elements sometime soon. Really, though, there is some great artwork made entirely in Photoshop. Since I paint in oils now and then, though, what Painter does just seems more intuitive for me.
...yeah I'd love the be able to afford Painter. I have Essentials though PSPX3 and though a rather pared down version of the full programme, it has a much more intuitive feel as I used to paint in oils and watercolours.
We are using CS6 now. We bought the upgrade to CS5 and it came with a free upgrade to CS6
Rock Demon at five years old. (Still a WIP)
That's so cute! I'm really enjoying playing with these morphs, but I really need to stop and get some work done.
...beautiful.
Can't wait to try these on Dario Fish's Alien Morphs for Genesis.
Impressive! These morphs are so versatile. One can create a family where the kids really do look like the parents.
Oh My...
I really do need to play with this morph set more...
Thanks everyone. :)
Here's one of mine.
Dial tweaked Justin with the Growing up 'Young Teen' preset and some shape morph dials.
Clothing is 'Urban Gear', pose and skateboard from the Skatepark set. Lighting and backdrop IG's Studio Point and Shoot.
Want to know the specific dial settings? Let me know. :)
Excellent! Urban Gear looks like a good product. I'll have to check it out.
The problem I've had with using characters based on YT Justin/Julie is the weird eyelash distortion that comes with using many hair products. There used to be a workaround using the parameter dials, but this seems to have disappeared lately. So, with 'Growing Up' I can make a younger character, borrow a few elements like textures from the YTs, and use whatever hair I like.
I don't remember seeing a render with the Genesis Gorilla in here. I used the 5 yo preset. :)

I think I might have figured out why certain hair freaks out on YT Justin/Julie - certainly Justin at least. It appears there is a double set of eyelashes. I'm going to try and get a screen capture that shows this.
As is often the case with such things I saw it once (didn't screen grab) and now can't replicate.
The workaround still works, make sure "Show Hidden Parameters" is enabled.
So, I thought I'd play around with things some more; Growing Up presets, dial spinning, etc...
Here's what I came up with. I call him Marcus.
Challenge with no prize: Can anyone pick just which male morphs have been used?
...David5?
That's one, yes.
