it will be a multi-part prop so ... likely all the hinged things will be animatable including simple pedals

    Oh, good:)

Well, in any case, I have already created my own pedals for it;)

WOW, that's really gorgeous inside too! Yea, it's allot of work. I don't model hard surfaces very well, I'm more of an organic modeler. The only hard surface model I've done to date is over in my Freebies thread, last page shows the results of the efforts.

Thank you RAMWolff, I had to model pedals different times because many of the DAZ and Poser cars don't have moveable ones:(

Wow, looks like it will be a real beauty!:)

i'll put standard pedals like this which will be animatable and have the hinges at the appropriate location
you'll be able to delete them or parent your foot-shaped ones to them

WOW, that's really nice. All the gauges are there. Now my friend that owns a '61 VW says there were no gas guages back then but there was a level that you pulled when you ran out of gas that stored 1 1/2 gallons to give you time to get to the gas station. So thought I'd mention that. Not sure if this model had or didn't have a gas gauge or lever that released that extra bit of petrol....

i had not seen the interior in Blender-cycles renders, lookin good

but for Daz Studio renders there's a lot of little bugs to fix, i'll render the inspection video in DS too software/hardware

    Aziz! light!

the underside is minimal but maybe will be toy-like detailed someday

    the new plan is

1 - don-t add anything to the model
    2 - rename all materials
    3 - rig mobile parts
4 - publish the beta version
    5 - xmas things

    trying Marianne Gilliand's supershine shaders
    http://supershine.undonet.com/

    Daz Studio soft-render

good news, most of the materials renaming is done ( major number of them )

next is to fix polygons that come out black (not difficult )

then rig everything ( using mcjSetOrientation of course )

and the beta release will be ready !

Oh, wanted to ask.... does the back gate come down? from a little research this seems to be the 1961 Type II Volkswagen Type II pickup truck.
