Thank you! I'll keep an eye on this, and hopefully I'll be able to afford it someday. Any chance anyone might know of a freebie fully rigged phoenix, or other mythological creature for free?

I only know of a pay-for one...and that's in one of Ken's sets, Mystic Birds (or something like that) on HiveWire.

Okay - this is a really old extra I picked up for the DAZ Eagle, and a quick and dirty 3dL render just now. I am sure with a little attention it could look much better.

Problem is it was along time ago and I can't remember where I got it, but it did involve RTencode (think that is what it is called - its not on this laptop at the moment) The Daz Eagle is only $1.99 for pc members.

Can anyone recall this or help find it? I can't find it in my Readme's, and I do keep them for freebies.

Well we can fix that. Lyne's Creations has several types of rigged birds here: http://www.lynescreations.com/lynesfree.htm

If I were trying to do a Phoenix and could not afford to buy the current models available I would use this model: http://www.sharecg.com/v/60291/gallery/11/Poser/Hawk-and-poses-Rigged-for-Poser and for 5 bucks buy this http://www.runtimedna.com/RDNA-Egyptine-Peacock-Feather-Sprays.html. to add to the tail. I might also do to something about the wings and use something like this: http://www.planit3d.com/source/poser/erlik1.html or maybe get more exoctic and use other types of wings.

Now when I did my search I think I typed in the wrong word maybe I typed in BUS and nothing came up that I was looking for never thought of typing in city bus duhhhhhh!!

Has anyone seen a duster -- a long trenchcoat with a shoulder cape, traditionally associated with cowboys? I know there is a PC+ M4 Cowboy outfit that includes one; I'm jsut wondering if there's a free one anywhere. M4, Genesis, G2M, G3M, whatever...

One of the Japanese sites has or had a shoulder cape, and PoserAddicts had (or has) a modern (admittedly uptown, rather than country) trenchcoat for M4/H4.

Thanks for the suggestion to look for the elements of the duster separately! I just found Sickle Yield's Sickle Trench Coat for M4/H4 https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/sickle-trench-coat-m4h4/60788 so I'm trying to use that, plus a custom map on a cape I already have.

Just wanted to stick this here for people seeking a trench coats and/or duster: Elleque has a freebie outfit for A3, Mystery Huntress, available from Rendo. https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/a3-mystery-huntress/54543 It consists of a short trench coat, belt for the coat, a separate shoulder cape, pants, and a deerstalker. Despite the "Mac only" warning, it works fine on my PC in Daz Studio. I've been working with non-free conversion programs and the non-free script DynCreator to make a draping version of the cape for G3F.
