Well, first you don't want to have the \People folder selected - that runs the risk of confusing DS as there are two ways it could record the locations of files in that, either as a folder in My Library or as a location in \My Library\People. That may indeed be the root of your problem - can you look to see if there is a Data folder in the \My Library\People folder? If there is, move it out (drag it out and place it in My Documents, say) and then try reloading your characters. Also highlight the entry for People in the Content Directory Manager under both heading, Poser formats and DAZ Studio Formats, and click the remove button.

    Hi,

No, there is not a Data folder in the \My Library\People folder. And there is no Genesis2F in that folder.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

I don't know if it's relevant or if it can help but there is a data folder in My DAZ 3D Library/content. But this data doesn't have any DAZ items in it. There is no Genesis2F in it. I have two data (one in My Library and one in My DAZ 3D Library). In each of them, there is a Genesis2F.

In \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2 folder, there is only one folder (Female). And in this folder there is:
    -Morphs
    -UV sets
    -Genesis2Female.dsf

But in \My DAZ 3D Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2 folder, there is two folders (Female and Female Genitalia). In the Female folder, there is:
    -Morphs
    -Projection Templates
    -Tools
    -UV sets
    -Genesis2Female.dsf

    Best regards.

Well, you should merge everything from the Content folder with the My DAZ 3D Library folder - just select all, cut (ctrl-x), go to My DAZ 3D Library, paste (ctrl-v) and say yes when asked if you want to merge the folders - otherwise whatever is in the Content folder won't load.

Now, I think if you go to \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2 and rename the Female folder (just click once to select it, then click on the name to edit it and click a final time on the name to get a cursor, then move the cursor to the beginning iof the name and type an X then return to accept the change) you will find the characters load. If that works you can delete the xFemale folder, but I want to make sure it does fix the problem before having you delete anything.

If you load a scene then DAZ Studio will look for the Data folder in the content directory you are loading from first, then it will try the rest of the content directories in order; when you load the base Genesis 2 female it finds the files it is looking for in that content directory, and they are the corrected files from when you reinstall; but when you load one of your saved scenes it doesn't find the Data folder in the current directory so it goes to \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\ and finds the "bad" files from when you saved the figure asset, and so you get blocks. Renaming the female folder will mean DS doesn't find the files there and so goes on to the second content directory, which has the correct versions of the file.
