First, you say "remove" where I say "delete", so I've got to verify you deleted the boots from the scene altogether. Simply parenting them to "None" won't work, sadly. Second, did you try using the outfit on a Genesis 2 Female and then remove the boots to see if the issue is the same with G2F. If you delete the boots from the scene and G2F isn't restored, then it's definitely an issue for Tech Support and you should file a trouble ticket. However, if it works correctly on G2F and not on G3F/G8F, it may be something caused by the differences in the generations, and Daz may decide there's nothing to fix.
I don't have La Matadora Outfit, so I can't test it.
If you decide to file a trouble ticket, and haven't done so before, you access the system by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page on this site. In the resulting window, click on the "Submit A Help Ticket" button. Then fill out the resulting form. (Lots of fields to fill out!)
First things first, delete, remove, is synonymous in my book. Hide is when you click on closing the eye in the Scene tab. The item is still there, but hidden.
Ok, a bit of clarification here as I did go slightly off on a tangent with this thread. When I mentioned using the shoes for the Twilight Outfit, which is Genesis 8, I was referring to borrowing the shoes from that outfit to put on a Genesis 8 body. Since the La Matadora Outfit is Genesis 2 and has high heels, it exhibits the problem with the high heeled shoes on a Genesis 8 body. So what I did was sub out the shoes from the Twilight Outfit, which is Genesis 8, knowing it would work just like any Genesis 8 shoe would. However, what I discovered was that the the shoes from the Twilight Outfit causes permanent damage to the Genesis 8 figure when removed. So at this point Genesis 2 is completely out of the equation in regards to this pair of shoes.
But, now you are saying that this is a technical issue and this shouldn't be happening?
Sometimes it's the simplest of solutions that seem too good to be true, but alas, this worked with a Genesis 2 outfit I really liked. Behold....
This is Princess Fraeya, an Elven character I created using the Ellis 8 package which is an add on for Bridget. She is still a work in progress, but this is my first render of her. The outfit is the Briar Princess Outfit for Genesis 2:

This was one of the outfits that I bought that exhibited the Gen 2,3 on Gen 8 high heel issue, and I was pretty upset about it too as this was one of the outfits I really liked and wanted it to work. The boots are very fancy and are matching to the set. In a case like this not having the right shoes just breaks the look of the outfit. But thankfully do to this simple little trick, it worked!
I did what Scorpio said above, I just hid the feet. I didn't think positioning would have worked once you do that, but it does! The evidence is above. I have my new character sitting pretty, catching some rays on her outdoor daybed...Darn it! I forgot to put a pillow on that daybed!
So despite using converters or going nuts with remapping and what not...sometimes the simplest of solutions just stares you right in the face. Now I am wondering if this trick will work all the time...or in the very least for the Gen 2 and 3 outfits that I already bought.
Thanks Scorpio and everyone else for chiming in to assist.
