I added an image, but now it's must more sit and spin. I don't see any of the options from the other thread about adding tags or anything. Must be right in front of my face, but my nose is getting in the way or something. And I want an explanation of what a child gallery is?
After you upload an image you can click on the image and edit the details about it. Child galleries are sub-galleries under your main one so you can create your own categorization for your images if you have enough to want to categorize them.
As for why it is sluggish for you but the rest of the site is fast, that is weird and the first report we've had on that. Nothing we can see on our end that would be causing slow downs from the server load and database load it is generating.
One thing it IS doing is saying "can not delete image" and yet it did. That came up in red. Did it twice. But when I went to my gallery, there were no images.
When I click to edit, it spins then goes off after two minutes, does nothing.
When I click the edit pen, same thing. Won't allow editing.
This should be working with Google Chrome. I know I am not the only person who uses it.
Can still easily access all areas of the site except the Gallery. It isn't working.
It says, "Each week in 2013 we’ll give out prizes...."
When is the cut off time for the first prize drawing?
When I click on my image over in my gallery page, WHY is it sending everyone to the main gallery page?!!! EDIT: I have it on private settings, but that shouldn't cause it to go off my gallery.
Using Firefox, same issues.
I have had HORRID service with Cloud Fare being on for hours some nights. Yes, I did a hard refresh. Shut down the browser, restarted computer, yada yada yada. Do something about that Miami Cloud Fare issue or whatever is causing these nuisances. Everyone else could get to the forums during that time, just like they are getting to the galleries now. IT ISN'T ME. Two browsers, and no go on functionality.
Have you tried rebooting your router?
Do you have a dynamic or a fixed IP
Forcing a new IP number could help you.
Also heard we are getting better forums too! THAT I can't wait for!
I tested the galleries. They are OK. I think when they get all the bugs out and add in some more features it will be worth my while setting one up.
I'm going to reboot again, thanks for the reminder. Let's see if that works. Not sure what a new IP number is? I have a fixed IP.
Ugh, I am dynamic, so not sure how you force an IP number change on a fixed IP on anything newer than win2k. Not sure if that way will work any more.
This is either
1) Start - Run - CMD (opens a command prompt)
2) ipconfig /release *
3) ipconfig /renew
4) exit (closes the DOS window)
or
go to DOS mode
Start / run / cmd (or command) depends on the OS
type
IP release /all
then type
IP renew
type help if the command does not work and see what options your DOS has stored. some PC's come with pretty stripped down DOS these days.
That is really old information though and probably doesn't work with broadband even.
That's for changing the IP address on the local network, but the IP address assigned to your router to connect the ,local network with the Internet is controlled by the ISP - either they always assign the same number every time you connect, or they assign the frst available number every time you connect (which is why, with a dynamic IP, resetting the router will change the address).
Well, thanks for trying w/ providing information, but I'm not messing with anything that shouldn't be necessary anyway. If I can't access the galleries, I just won't have one. Screw it.
It's amazing who IS posting. We now have a woman grabbing another woman's naked breast, a naked big breasted woman staring in the mirror, her full bared butt facing us and the entire side of the breast visible, a topless woman on a strip pole. (Edit- her arms cover her chest. Topless but covered.)

There is a reporting system. If you think an image is in violation of the TOS report it.
Hit the exclamation point in the triangle icon and report it.
That's what the report feature is for. If its not reported nothing will be done about it. The forums don't solve any problem
You gotta remember, I'm the one that can't get into the galleries. I can see thumbnails. Pages just spin.
The moderation staff is as of now not moderating the Galleries, another department is handling that based on reports. If you see images in violation, please click the report button on the images and those that are handling those reports will get them removed. That said, atm since the galleries are new, there may be a lag from when you report to when the images are removed. Please be patient with us during this beginning transition.
If for some reason you are unable to use the report button, then please PM me directly with links to the violating images in question and I will forward them on to be removed,

If you're unable to edit your image (clicking on the pen) or it's information, make sure your Gallery is made Public. I couldn't edit anything either when I set mine to Private; making it Public fixed it immediately.
When you go to your account page do you see a link across the top that says galleries? If so, click that link and it "should" take you to where you can upload your images (Make sure you are logged in obviously and also be sure you are not suffering from cookie/caching issues as sometimes happens here from time to time. If you still cannot get in, then please give me a screenshot of what you do get when you try.
Also, be sure you are updated to the latest version of the browser you are using.

Novica: I went through and sent reports on all the violating images in the first like 5 pages so those have all been reported :) (I know you are having issues so can't report them so I went ahead and went through to be sure they were reported)

I tried it with Public and it didn't work, but since then I was in Private mode and I had done a complete reboot and hard refresh so I'll go try it again. Thanks for the tips. I am very frustrated (and cranky.)
EDIT: Yes, I do have the link and enter from My Account. It spins for about two to four minutes before it shows the page with my one loaded image. Will post back in a few minutes once I get in.
Eight minutes but it did finally open up the edit page- so going Public worked- thanks for the tip!
It is still taking me out to the main gallery though when I go to view my page and then click on my image. That's a site bug, not me. Anyone else getting that?
No, it's working correctly for me. How exactly are you navigating to your page and clicking on your image?
