Did you test if it crashes disabling the card and using CPU?
because if it does the issues are not related to your card or driver
it could be your RAM
I had to replace a stick of RAM a couple years ago because rendering was crashing my computer with Bluescreens
Only CPU works.
CPU + GPU doesn't work, nvlddmkm crash.
Windows 10 Memory Diagnostic Tool (mdsched.exe) find no error.
Same here, still looking for a sollution...
Did you check your page file settings and how much space is available on the drive that has it?

Just tried the Studio version of the 430.86 drivers (removed old ones) with no apparent improvements whatsoever. Crash to black screen with just a couple of G8 figures with hair and some clothing, nothing too demanding in terms of power and memory I believe. CPU rendering is painfully slow but works, switching to GPU it doesn't even render the first iteration. I must say that I'm only using 8gb of ram and that might be a bit low for more demanding scenes but I've rendered stuff more complex than a couple of figures in the past with no issues on this setup.
I too am getting crashing, I will try the studio driver and see if it works. My scene is simple. Two characters and sun and sky lights. Rendered before with no issues. I have 32 gig of ram and the nvidia game driver. I am thinking of returning to 4.10 I hope I saved the installer.
In case it helps anyone, I have been having same problem with DS 4.11
pc 64 bit
intel core i5 cpu 750 @2.67 GHz 266 GHz
windows 7
16 gb ram
GeForce GTX 970
driver (d/l from nvidia) 430.86
Error logs mention OptiX, turning OptiX Prime Acceleration (in the adanced settings tab) off has stopped the majority of the crashing though it still freezes and gets slow as molases often. If your error log looks similar you can try, as a way of getting by until it's fixed

Finally I found Daz Studio 4.10.0.107 installer, now it works.
Iray crashes for me too since some time and i am realy wondering why. It crashes on szenes I coul render probably before without any problems.
So what is going on? What changed and why I cannot use Iray anymore?
In my opinion it looks like the new nvidia drivers are not working fine with 9xx cards. And since 4.11 requires new drivers your only option seems to go back to 4.10. Disabling Optix and/or using the studio drivers may improve the new drivers reliability though.
At least in my case, I disagree. I'm using 418.81 with my 980TI without problems. People seem to forget that the "latest" Nvidia drivers are not always without problems. People having trouble with the latest Nvidia driver should just try rolling back a few editions. New Nvidia updates are often released to accommodate a recent game and won't have any impact on rendering with DAZ.
There are seems to be a great number of people that did not read Studio release notes to see the minimum Nvidia driver requirement.
@fastbike1 I tried Daz Studio 4.11 + 418.81, it still crash.
@Padone there is no Studio driver for GeForce 9xx and in my case it's worse when OptiX is disabled
@fastbike1 Another thing that may make the difference with the same driver release is the version of windows. Those with win 7 or win 8 or a different version of win 10 may be dfferently affected.
EDIT. It would be nice if the daz team would publish the exact version of windows and of the drivers they test 4.11 with, so to at least have a reference. In the 4.11 discussions I only found "recent drivers are recommended".
It's not just the 9xx cards. My card is a 1070 with 430.86 drivers on windows 10 and I'm crashing too. Haven't tried older drivers to rule that out but yes, it's possible that Nvidia broke Daz with the latest update.
Are you guys using the post denoiser? Might be that it messes with iray at somepoint and just crashes it?
I tried different drivers, installed the current driver 436.02 and it was still crashing. The solution was easy, I spanned over two partitions the windows paging file and fixed them to a certain size. The first pagefile is 20 gig and the second one is 50 gig. I have a HP Z800 system with 32 gigs of ram with a nividia 1060 6 gig video card using windows 7 pro. Try playing around with the pagefile in windows. Just my two cents.
