Ok--I figured it was for the G2 male. I'll keep my eye out for this--I love a good zombie/mummy/skeleton.

Sorry to bother u - my english is not the best too.
I´m not sure if u got my PM -i have sent u a screenshot.

What i mean is - if i add for example an distant light
everthing else is alightet because of it.
But not so wither - it just shows a light effect in his eyes and at his teeth.

The light doesnt work on it´s texture

for some reason I am not able to respond to your PM...but here is what I am saying:

When you load lights into a scene they will not show their real effect until you render. This is normal and has nothing to do with the textures.
If you add a light and render the scene, you should see the textures fine.
I can see the textures clearly in your preview mode, so they are there. There is nothing to reinstall

sure - but normally u can see the light effect in the preview too.
Not so detailed of course but u can see it.

    Here the screenshot again.

See - Genesis on the left side is getting brighter if the light is turned on.
Not so wither - it stay the same.

Like I said...you cannot rely on preview to test lighting, the only way is when a scene is rendered to tell how it looks.
    This should render fine.
If you are not seeing the shadows you want in preview this is probably a result of the sss shaders on the character. The sss shaders give a kind of ambient quality to the skin in preview mode....but again...it will render fine.

    Hello,
Love the look of this guy! Genesis and DUF are working natively in Carrara, but not HD. Any idea how he might look without HD? Even with some loss of detail, he may be good. I'd just buy and try, but my computer is down right now.

sure it renders fine - but it is not the idea to render a scene each time you have chenged the light a bit.
Every other stuff shows the light effect in the preview - and there is a reason why there is the switch
to turn the light on and off in the preview.

Wither doesnt work fine in this case - it shows the light effect just on its eyes and its teeth.

Of course it doesnt show shadows in the preview - but the light has to be seen.

Checking on that, it should be sorted out sometime fairly soon. Is a question of more than one user with the same name.

Okay here another screenshot to explain:
Screenshot from the light & camera tool
upper part - light off - lower part light on

undeath fiend, and also the part of the morgue are showing and changing the light.

Not so Wither - it stays the same - and this my friends is not normal ;)

    Greetings Wolfgang

Like Raw said, objects or figures applied with AoA subsurface shader look more ambient in the preview window so lights placed in the scene will appear like they aren't casting much light on the figure. It's completely normal.

Wither's texture is different than those others. It won't show in the preview the same way as those others. That's normal for that kind of texture.
