The Odyssey Commanding Officer uniform, and Tactical uniform (for away teams and security officers) wearing Royloo's M4 Trooper armor.
I'll be creating a set of Mats to convert Royloo's M4/V4 troopers to a Starfleet Tactical body armor.
Odyssey Medical officer....
Those are looking cool, too. I was wondering, though, what did you use for your bump map? It works great with that uniform.

Thanks!
When I created these texture maps for the bodysuit, I save them as a PNG file. Then I use PaintNet (http://www.getpaint.net/index.html) a free paint program to use the "paint bucket" feature to fill the areas with the texture pattern I want for that section. The fill patterns I like most are "diagonal cross", "horizontal brick" and "outlined diamonds," (these are the same patterns used in actual carbon fiber armor. As I want the bodysuit to be battle suits, these patterns help enhance that look).. For the colors for the paint fill, I select white (most bump), grey, dark grey, or black (least). I save this as my bump file.
In Poser's material room, I select this as my bump file and I use the bump value of .005, in these images which is showing too much at the chest area, I lowered it to.002 which works better.
I'm certain that other members here have a better technique for this, this is what I find works for me.

Studio users may need to adjust bump settings for best results, due to the difference in zero points. (In studio, medium grey is the zero point, and black actually represents a negative bump. If the thickness is small enough, and the bump value large enough, this can -actually result in poke-through.)
Bump won't cause poke-through as it doesn't move the mesh, just changes the way it responds to light. Displacement may. The simplest way to make DS Poser-like is to set the minimum value for displacement to zero.
A quick render of a Cardassian runabout I just made
Really nice work!

Thanks Here are some more shots
Looks really good. I'm trying to remember, though, if we ever saw enough of other Cardassian style ships in-canon to say if they all looked something like Galor-class designs that shrunk in the wash.

Based it on the Hediki class http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Hideki_class but considerably smaller obviously
Ah, I see. Been a long time since I last watched any DS9, though, I'd forgotten about that one.
atm - here's the 1st release for the Klingon Bridge remake, take two.
"4 Chairs" is one chair, load 4 of them ;-)

This is not the Centre Seat.
This one has both Poser and D/S files as it works in both programs without the disappearing act.
Looking good... I was hoping to see a D-7 Battle-cruiser bridge for some time...

Thank you. Me too ;-) Fixing conversions in Hexagon is something of a challenge though ... hoping by now I have enough experience to make this one happen.
I'm not able to rectify the issues with the Odyssey uniform... . The stripe around the shoulder, especially left, gets too deformed for me to want to release it.... So I am now working on a variant on the shoulders, otherwise keeping close to the originals form Star Trek Online..
The color/divisions to be supported:
Red - Command/Tactical
Gold - Operations (Security, Engineering)
Blue - Sciences
Teal - Medical
We'll get (note, my instructions will be to set the "seams gone" to 1 for the bodysuit, I just didn't do this for these renders)
Commanding Officer (not shown)
Services uniforms - see below example is Command, (aka duty uniform)
Tactical uniforms - see below example is Sciences (heavy duty work, away team uniform)
Medical gets their own unique Services and Tactical uniforms. (not shown)
Enlisted uniforms (example below example Engineering)
Flag officer uniforms (junior and senior) - see below example is senior admiral command (ie Vice - Fleet)
Dress uniforms (not shown)
Cadet uniforms - see below example is command
A total of 29 uniforms in all...
This uniform normally has a belt, but its optional now, a link to a freebie uniform belt and corresponding Mats will be provided for both V4 and M4 for those who want it....
For each new uniform I create, I will have in the prop folder a rankpin sized and parented to the correct location on the uniform. You just need my STO Rankpins and combadge freebie for the mat files.
Status: completed the texture maps for M4, completed just 75% of V4.....

Nasa's IXS Enterprise

Pretty.
Heh, the mention of reduced energy requirements for the Alcubierre-style drive reminded me of discussions many years ago on the practicalities of building a working Tipler machine; "first take an infinitely long cylinder, then spin it up using an infinite amount of energy..."
Apart from these minor engineering problems, apparently the maths works. :ohh:
These new suits are looking awesome, can't wait to see them posted.
The Klingon bridge is coming along ...
Here you can see where to put those "4 chairs". Haven't decided yet whether to release the head chair as is or try to get it to work better with Poser ... The rest of what is in this image is "done" save for cleaning up the Shading Domains. Corridor and Bridge walls, etc next to be worked on.
Anything from NASA I am not going to be holding my breathe, Brookings has made sure of that. Now my own research in UFO's and ET's has given very interesting things, including how to go faster than light and free energy. Though I know I am opening myself to infantile jokes and name calling by doing so, but oh well.
Anyhow, I wonder when that update to the Constitution Parts set comes out.
Anything from NASA I am not going to be holding my breathe, ...
The 3D model mentioned in the article doesn't appear to be on the NASA website (which has moved to http://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/, by the way). I won't hold my breath on that, either.
The newest Starfleet uniform is the "Sierra1" from Star Trek Online MMORPG, it's both a service and tactical uniform (circa late 24th century). Offered is eleven different uniforms colors. Shown below are the new colors swathes for this uniform.

For who ever does step up to maintain the freebie list needs to speak with a moderator here at DAZ and let them know you will be setting it up.
Having someone post in the middle of a new thread while you set ting up the list is annoying and will need moderator help to move or delete that person's post.
Good luck to who ever has it.
