another "and now for something completely differnt" moment..
1972 Chevy LUV pickup - Hot Wheels style..
Nice job
From what I recall of the Chevy Luv that's some real wishful thinking
Indeed.. never let it be said that the Hot Wheels folks lack a certain spark of creativity!
1969 GTO Judge:
One of my favorites
Very Nice
Yep.. I really prefer the 64-65 ones, but the later ones are nice too! I'd drive one!
I had a 66
Lucky You.. In 66 I had a second hand Comet :)
Lucky you! In '66 I had a bicycle! But my upstairs neighbor's son had a brand new, metallic Army Green Mustang! I was 12.
Dana
Should have said that it was 1974 when I had it
Oh. Well, that's when I had the '69 Chrysler Newport. I had just gotten married.
Dana
Now that's funny because I had just gotten married two months before I got the car.
Had a Coupe De' Ville with tranny problems when I got married and we traded it for the GTO
I had the '66 Chrysler Newport when we got married. On the way to the honeymoon, during a dark, stormy, thunderstorm night...the power steering unit popped! We stayed in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, so parking wasn't a problem...but when we got back home, parking was murder. I traded it in for the '69.

In 74 got my first "new from the dealer" car - Datsun 1200 Coupe!
My first new car was a 1981 Toyota Starlet. Been a Toyota man ever since!
Dana
You all beat me to the new ones by quite a bit my first new vehicle was a Mazda B2500 in 2000
I'm now driving a 2017 Tacoma that I bought new
after the Datsun died:
-71 Jeep Wagoneer (used)
- Lada (bought new) (I have lots of Lada stories! - was a great winter car)
-85 K-Car
-91 Dodge Spirit
-96 Neon
- 2012 Hyundai Accent (current car and the best of the lot..
1946 Ford Super Deluxe Woodie:
Cool!

Surfs up !!
I also had a 66...a Volvo 66
F 612
Nice one Sven!
Tks!
Rememberig the "Road Toad" - back in the late 70's/early 80's had one of these in a greenish color.. It was immediately christened "The Road Toad" - 401 AMC v8, 3 speed auto.. loved it, but sadly it ddn't last - (moral- don't buy used in Quebec). Now this model is of a '91 Wagoneer, so the interior is wrong, but the basic body shape is pretty much a dead ringer... was quite pleased to be ablt to map an image of the Warn automatic locking hubs on the front wheels.
Looking real good
Hunting buddy had one of those but his was a dark green this was in 1967-1969

Thanks. Yes, it's an HDRI. I just did a photo search with the key words "boat ramp" using Bing where it lets you specify the min resolution. I usually use 4000 x 2000 px and the results usually contain a lot of HDRI's. The search settings lets you search places where you'd never expect to find HDRI's.
Here's a link to the image https://gograpevine.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/20200925-DSCF4414-HDR-AdobeRGB-Perceptual-scaled.jpg
It's from a parks and recreation website.
Thanks!
Just some props I got my hands on for my next project at work. Same thing again with using an HDRI for the background. Just did a Bing image search for "military base" with 4000x2000 px as the min resolution. Original image is below. Tried rendering video with all those vehicles and my two 2080 Ti's kept crashing. Ended up rendering a still image and used it to mask everything but the helicopter.
