nice one! DZfire's Hardtail Rat retextured real nice! - Good choice of HDRI, too!
Next up.. 1975 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Levi's Jeans Edition..
Nice
You wouldn't by chance have a 1980 Daisy Duke model?
I'll look for one, but I've not seen one around.. although it looks like with some custom mapping , one could come close..
I think so as well
well then.. its on the project list!
Cool look forward to seeing it.
Between Microsoft breaking things and hardware failures along with unexplained crashes it's been too long since I've been able to finish anything
well.. found the images needed, but the hood mapping on that model is borked.. Will keep trying..
BUT! in the meantime, continuing the Jeep theme.. Here's the ancestor! 1945 Williys MB
Cool Looks good
In the meantime -- 1970 VW Beetle Baja style..
My youngest brother would love that for real life
He's a custom beetle fanatic
You can get it from hum3d.com.
Thanks, I'll check it out
His work is pricey, but there are some models ther that you can;t get anywhere else.. I want ALL of his motorcycle models :)
Ok... Now y'all know I don't usually render in Iray,, but here's an experiment...
Wow. Very nice work
Thanks.. This however does not mean I'm abandoning 3DLight.. there's stuff I can do there that I can't do in Iray..
Nor would I expect you to as there's no such thing as a perfect do it all for anything
Yep.. use the best tool for the job... Although I do remember on my '37 HD that tool was often a large soft faced mallet (not really, but every once in a while.....)
Stellar scene & render!!!!!
Love the Merc. It's a classic....
Nice!!!!!
More experiments! Playing around with Iray and HDRI's and an Ipad selfie for FT...
Nice pics,
The backgrounds do bring back memories from 20+ years back, when I was supervising erections/start-ups of heating stations on military housing projects in Russia.
Version 2.. playing with ies light profiles on emissives.. (and a few other tests)
Looks good
Model is from 3D Warehouse.
nice one!
no remders for a bit - simply too hot. ambient temp inside here is 35-37 .. CPU and GPU temps would be out of this world..... (currently idle temps are at 10-15C higher than normal..) (and no we don;t have AC)
