Hope that is better. Tea (any caffeine really) does help aspirin work better on my arthur (which blessedly is not as severe as yours, Jade's and others).
As to the interview question, It tempts one to answer in one of several ways.
    "Kryptonite."
    "I have no weaknesses."
    "I'm a workaholic."
    "Stupid badly-phrased questions."
"You really want to know what I think I suck at most?"

The question is of the variety of "If you could be any kind of animal, what would choose?" How does a question like that become a part of job interviews in the first place? Sheesh.

If the Disability process were not so messed up (thanks to the few cheaters who make it tough on the rest of us who actually need it) I'd give it more serious consideration. The last several days I would have been hard pressed to make it through a normal shift (particularly at the last company I worked for) let alone get out of bed in time to make the morning bus (hips and legs were bothering me something fierce).

You should try for it, then. Be aware that, from what I hear, it usually takes more than one try. The sooner you start, the closer you'll be.

Until I get the acknowledgement on my medical coverage it's pointless anyway as I can't afford 100 -150$ for an exam visit (and possibly more for any tests) out of my own pocket.

It is a bit silly. However, I think I can see it as a way to assess your ability to see yourself honestly. My answer would probably be interviews.

My sister had no money for a lawyer, but her doctors were very persuasive as I understand it. Lawyers shouldn't charge for that service...it's taking advantage of someone who you know can't really afford it. But then, lawyers have always had such a high likeability rating, haven't they? I know there are some good ones. But they seem few and far between.

The bacon and pepperoni pizza sound good. In fact, we had pepperoni pizza last night...and since I haven't been feeling well, I didn't eat much. So we're having the rest tonight.

    Don't like beer.
    Don't like coffee.
Popcorn gets stuck in my throat (well, the kernal skins do) and on my tongue and it drives me crazy.

I actually do like the aroma of some coffees brewing, though, so maybe...

Dana, I'm not convinced that anyone can be completely honest in self-assessment; I don't believe it's possible in my case at least. Everyone is biased when it comes to what they think of themselves, perhaps even more so than when they assess others. 2 cents. :)

I'm told that I'm too hard on myself. I think I'm just being honest. I guess it depends on the point of view.

ETA: My friends (too few these days) know not to ask my opinion if they really don't want it. If I think something sucks, I won't say it's nice. Too honest, maybe? I don't think there can be "too" honest.

    Exactly.
And for the ETA, There seems to be a fine line between honesty/brutal honesty.
And there are times when being completely honest is a very bad idea.
For example, you have to be careful when a girlfriend/wife asks, "Does this make my butt look big?" :)

a lil magic medicine for the aches, pains, and chills.

oh, thought i had a render of absinthe handy, doh

feeling like some pinup renders? :)

I would render something but I uninstalled Daz Studio because I thought my parents would give me their dual-core Pentium. They changed their mind for now. I need to move the runtime files from the external drive back to the internal drive.

I signed up for a new Mac Pro but now it won't be here until end March.

Answer: No. It's not the garment. (But only think the last part...and hope your name isn't Homer) D'oh!

ETA: I do understand how to be tactful, though. I don't volunteer more than is required. I was taught, "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing." That's not always possible, of course, but with modification it works quite well.

Is a complete redesign so I'll be hanging on to the 2010 model until I see how the new one goes. Still running a 2007 Mac Pro, hacked a modern video card into it and it runs Final Cut X real well but at 7 y/o and with some 32 bit drivers I'm not expecting it to upgrade any more. Might sell that one as a going concern , is still faster with 2 Xeons than most modern compys right now.

I stole tjohns idea, but my answer is pretty much the same as yours I think. My body. If I was visiting my Doc today I would have to report my pain is at a full blown 10 out of 10. That's pretty rare even for me. I think most days I run about a 6. Today its in my shoulders, my knees and and hands in a big way. My hands are so bad that others can hear them crack if I do a full flex of them. All I can say is TG for meds and the fact a mouse fits the natural shape my right hand prefers.

But as far as admitting a weakness and still getting hired for a job, hmm... Think it would be this... "I'm lazy, I prefer to work smarter and not harder. If I can think of a way to do a job easier and faster and do it right I will." If I remember Right I ended up running 5 different stores for them before my health sidelined me.
