I find myself in a boat with you.

These fiends are not something I would usually look twice at. But there is something about their lines that I really, really like. Something graceful? I do not think that is the exact word. But they are unique and that always gets my attention. :)

    Me too :D LOL

There just isn't enough "weirdness" (for want of a better word) for Genesis 2. Actually there wasn't really enough weirdness for Genesis to tell the truth. I keep hoping we'll have someone like samildinach come along and start creating for Genesis/Genesis 2 but it doesn't really happen. And I think that's why I'm really attracted to these figures...they are not cookie cutter gorgeous characters...they are different....

Unique and different grabs me immediately, all the time. :D

I can't work out - other than the uniqueness - what it is that is grabbing me too. :D It's a strange one, yes? LOL

Thank you very much (FWArt and Sabby) for making Tansy POSER compatible but I doubt that I will buy her even if I am interested in having her in my runtime because Fiends Forever is, from what I read, DS only... I believe that it is a personal choice from Out Of Touch and I sincerely regret it.

As you may have noticed, the fiends have taken over the marketplace today :)

Thank you for all your responses, I'm happy that you like their special kind of "weirdness" ;-)

@Wilfried: The thing that this product is not Poser compatible is in so far a "personal choice" of me, that I was not happy with the quality of the product in Poser. I always bring my products into Poser and see how they work, if there is something that does not work properly I rather decide to not make it Poser compatible, I think that is the best decision for you as a customer, who won't get upset with a bad working Poser-product, and for me as an artist who can guarantee my best quality in the native application.

The Fiends Forever bodyshape uses lots of bodyscaling which does not translate properly into Poser, that is an issue that might get solved in the future, I don't know. The reason why I decided to use the scaling was to keep up the amazing Genesis 2 body bending and make clothing fit very well without mesh distortion. Second, the easily swap-able makeup and eyebrow options is a feature that is not working in Poser.

I just wanted to make sure that it is not "personal choice" of that kind, but rather technical issues.

Woooow she looks so great and I like toons :)
But is she only for Daz and not for Poser compactible ?
Than I can not buy because Daz Studio don´t work for me.

I hope you can make that she work also in Poser with Dson Importer.

I guess that is a good question, can I transfer V4 textures to fiends, just like G2F?
    I would assume yes. :)

Should work fine as long as you have the V4 for G2F for the UVs.

Since Fiends Forever is a shape for Genesis 2 Female, you can use any features of Genesis 2 Female in combination with the Fiends Forever products. So if you know how to use V4 textures on G2F, you can dial in the Fiends Forever Morph and have everything ready ;)

I'm mildly hating you right now OoT lol. Only thing I've ever bought for G2F was 1 outfit and V4 for G2F. You may make me start using her also, at least for these things.

What UV map are their skins on, Base Female or V5?

    Thank you for the precision.

It is just annoying for Sabby and FWART because it is not worth buying the base character that will not work in Poser because of "technical issues" except for one nice poser compatible character...

    Thank you very much.

These fiends forever characters really look cool. I sure wish they worked in Poser.... I guess there are ways for users to DSON or CR2 them over ourselves. What I am really in shock reading this topic is that OutofTouch is a guy... one of my favorite vendors here and at Rendo... and I always assumed was a woman:) Of course I also thought Mec4d was a guy..wrong:)... I get fooled by the style of art which is probably sexist of me.

i'm only assuming outoftouch is a guy...I always thought so for some reason, but for all I know, OOT is really a 73 year old grandmother. :D :D

@ Vaskania: This is kinda cool to be honest :D Textures are created for Genesis 2 Female Base UVs.

Oh well, yes I'm male and not even close to 73 years, you assumed right ;) It is actually funny, I have experienced it myself way often. When I first started with Poser I always thought there were more males than females, I quickly noticed my feeling was wrong.

I am not a toon character fan myself but, i dunno why... I find these interesting / attractive.

We know Out of Touch great product quality and FWArt and Sabby liked it already as much they did a character for it...

Arglll how not to buy ....

Just so its clear, the scaling technical issue is a limitation in the Poser program itself that can only be fixed by Smith Micro programmers.

*yoink* mine! I love this character, so completely awesome! I will be supporting this morph in my clothing from here on out. (not counting the two sets that are already in or through testing for MM, Daz is too busy to pester with updates right now)

What a doll! Here's an image from me. I wanted to see how the balljoints from Sickleyield worked on the dolls.
She's wearing Spex glasses, free handbag from Wilmap, Paige Dress, monster style textures.

I've fighting for years for DAZ and Genesis and tried numerous Poser Artist to convince to make their products compatible with Genesis, unfortunately mostly unsuccessful. Then DAZ comes with the DSON Converter and Genesis suddenly working again in both programs.

Personally, I gave up my resentment against Poser and try now since a few months very extensively acquainted with the program. I like the results partially a lot better, because DAZ still not internally delivers with fur and hair good results.

And now both programs are again not compatible with each other at once. On one side (DAZ) are the new characters (Fiends Forever) only partially compatible with Poser, just like on the other side (Poser) where the Dude2 and SuzyQ2 are mostly incompatible with DAZ.

Is it me or is everything in the last few years actually become more complicated? Why no one tries to simplify things and more to bring to the lowest common denominator. Why are there in this area still no uniform standard such as JPG in the graphics area or MP3 in the audio range. But I don't want to lament here. It would be just nice, if further releases could be used again in both programs without restrictions.

But forget to mentioned: I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS!!!!
