I know these are wips but does the headphones look good on the fiend after I scaled them up? or do I need to do more adjustments?

Had a go w/ Tansy in PP2014. The head works nicely and the body morph gives her a slightly slimmer shape and looks good as long as I leave the main Fiend morph out (Poser doesn't seem to like the pelvis scaling of the Fiend body morph). The hair still works nicely in Poser though. I use Semidieu's Library Manager @ RDNA so I can load *duf files directly w/o PoserCF (I use PoserCF for mats when available though).

Used a basic Render Studio 2014 lighting setup. Pose is one of the Fiend base poses (works well w/ gun-hands too lol).

I loaded the full bot mat, then copied the torso nodes in the mat room. Applied Tansy to G2F and pasted the structure back on to the torso and hip so it would look like only the head was human. Without doing that, part of her side and nether-regions are human skin. I couldn't seem to find a neck-down only mat for the bot if they exist at all.

Yeah I think the headphone are fitting quite nicely :)

It's cool to see someone actually trying out the stuff in Poser, the headmorph is working perfectly, while the body gives distortion because of the scaling. But she still has some very nice bodyshape in your render Vaskania :)

Thanks. :) Do you happen to know what it is that causes that scaling issue? I've never ran across it yet when transferring morphs between DS and Poser.

No I'm sorry. All I know is that even some of the original DAZ scaling morphs do not work properly. like for example "Shoulders Scale", "Torso Length", "Chest Scale" and so on. I hope this can be fixed one day...

Scaling issues in Poser ... vague memories (may or may not apply here):
Poser doesn't / didn't do onesided scaling, DS does
Poser doesn't do triax weightmapping - different weightmaps for different axes are possible in DS

I couldn't even begin to say if either of those could be the culprit. I've never done bodies, only messed with heads.

On a side note, at least the skin colors work, and the makeup/eyebrows work too with enough fiddling w/ blend nodes. I'll be sticking to DS though if I'm using the main girls- it's just waaaayyy easier than fudging in the mat room and risking crashes w/ duf stuff. lol

I'm just a glutton for punishment and like testing everything. :P

Just out of sheer curiousity and to test GenX2's morph transfer from Gen2 to Genesis, I brought her to Genesis.

G2F is purple, Genesis 1 is blue. Both have one of the doll stand poses from G2F.

Obviously G2F's textures won't work on Genesis, but the basic skins seem easy enough to replicate w/ diffuse colors.

GenX2 transferred a G2F shape morph to Genesis as well, so that needs to be dialed in if using her on Genesis.

I like this character very much and I really hope, this will be a long time running series of releases and does not end in the typical way to end up like all the toon characters in DAZ .. a quick euphoria and then nothing more (see Hitomi, Jasmin & Jason, Sam & Sadie for Genesis, Mavka for Genesis to name just a few)

I've been going through my V4 content to see what stuff that I'd use with FF will actually work, and I'm just posting this one because I was actually shocked at how well it works, even with all of the little intricate bits. I forgot how much V4 clothing I had that are perfect for dolls.

This is FF wearing Misao by Val3dArt from Rendo. I exhagerated one of the Bloodile poses to show how well the skirt forms around the legs. You'd think I threw it into the clothroom in Poser, but I didn't, and this is from Daz Studio.

The sleeves I used V4 > Shirt, the dress I used V4 Skirt > Skirt > Knee Length, the leg wraps I used V4 > Pants. This is G2F and I do have the V4 for G2F by Mallenlane. This is also pure autofit, I didn't tweak anything other than G2F's pose.

Muon Quak: This is a very nice display of cool dools, I personally like the right one most :)

Vaskania: Oh that Transfer to Genesis looks indeed very... alike? Great! Also I'm happy that the V4 clothing is working so well here. Makes me wanna get the V4 to G2F autofit Options :O

RCT-Spanky: I'm happy to see you are liking the dolls :) Thank you! Actually this is the amazing thing about Genesis and Genesis 2, the support will never stop, because every single clothing and character sets will work for the Fiends. The Fiends bodyshape is designed to make clothing fit smoothly and very easily, so you can use your whole G2F clothing library on the Fiends.

You should. You have so much more options that way, and I've been getting pretty good results, which I think is down to autofitting female to female rather than shapeless (genesis 1) to female. I've been getting creative with the options though, such as transferring Delirium using a skirt option, corset/cuffs/etc are transferred via shirt, leg wraps are transferred using the pants option. Short skirts are still transferred through V4 Skirt > Skirt > Knee Length.

I tried your Corazon outfit, but that one doesn't come out so well due to the extreme shape. The bottom of the top, and the top of the skirt both get sunk into the body and are fairly difficult to shape right. I haven't tried transferring corazon's pose inject to G2F though.

I'm also autofitting to the FF base rather than fitting to G2F and then morphing to FF.

Ignore the poke through on the left leg, I didn't catch it, but it's easy enough to fix via smoothing, which wasn't applied when I did this. Yes, even the shoes worked- transferred as footwear (you need to manually bend G2F's L/R feet and L/R toes if she'll be standing on the ground though).

Congrats on 10 years too! ;)

Did this just to show someone you can parent older figure's hair to newer figures and I just like how it turned out.

The hair is A3 XinXin w/ DestinysGarden's hair shaders and Digital Lite Design's Magical Granite on the hair tie balls. Everything was ran through using Bishounen's Visual Style shaders (both solid color and texture-retaining). The lashes are from WillDupre's Anime Eyes for A4 H4- manually input the transmap and set the UV on the lashes only to V4.

And the boyfriend has arrived!! He's late again, as usual, so I certainly hope he has a rather large bunch of flowers for our girl to apologize to her! :D :D

    Awesome work, OOT!!

Love this series but haven't really bought anything from the Gen2 males so far. The female version of this is one of the few things I have bought for Gen2. So my question is this...if I buy the base does it require anything apart from the Gen2 male that comes free with DS?

    thanks

The base doesn't mention anything required other than simply Gen 2 Male base:
    http://www.daz3d.com/fiends-forever-male-base/

But don't quote me on that, until OOT can come in and confirm. :D

I'm fairly certain the Fiends Forever girl didn't require anything other than Gen 2 Female base when she was released tho.
