Hubba, hubba! Is there a G2F version?
In my opinion the "sexiness" of a woman is not (only) defined by how she looks, but (much more) by the way she acts and behaves. And what she is trying to express.
In DAZ terms this means, when you set up V6 for a render, be very careful with her pose! Not only how the pose looks in general, but also how the pose works with your camera perspective. The pose always should enhance her expression and her curves. Curves are what make a female sexy. So choose a camera perspective that enhances most of her curves in a pose.
Also pay attention to her face. You can see a very big number of renders with beautiful women in hot clothes and good poses, but their faces are "dead". Do not forget her facial expression! Just think of these famous "bedroom eyes". Combine them with a nice smile and you get instant sexiness.
Not sexually attractive?? Its all Zev0's fault!!
Yes, well...
God forbid we have sex with women who are just "pretty".
:/
LOL!
Yes, and every man is pretty and sexy by nature. Thats why we dont need make-up :-) :-)
To actually attempt to answer the OP's question - you should also have the basic Head and Body morph sets for the Genesis 2 figure and use them to create the exact body and face shape that you like. Personally, I don't find V6 or Olympia all that "sexy" either, V6 is too 'angular' and sharp and Olympia is still too muscular and not generally 'soft' enough for me. I start with the base female shape, add a little bit of some full body morphs like Voluptuous, and then work on each body part at a time with morphs like ArmThickness, ThighSize, WaistWidth, etc. Also remember that you can use DAZ character shapes like V6 and Olympia at lower values. Try them at 0.3 - 0.5 or so and build on them with other morphs.
True, being sexy is subjective, but you're not limited to the character presets. Taking the time to adjust the morphs will result in a character that's not only original, but looks the way you want it to.
I guess "sexy" really is subjective. :bug:
To me, if V2, V3, V4, V5, V6 and Olympia had a beauty contest, Olympia would win hands down. And she wouldn't do it by a bare margin, she'd win by a landslide as V2, V3 and V4 wouldn't have a prayer in a competition with her. The only challengers would be V5 and V6 (and that's not even counting the new Stephanie 6).
Since Olympia and V6 aren't "beautiful" and "sexy" and "hot" enough for you, then the best advice I can give to the original poster is mess around with the dials and try and make her into your ideal of sexy and hot.
Very political correct tone in here... :/
Just talking about the preset face I preferred V5(SM) over V6, but I like the fit body on V6 (although I thought it`s an odd decision to make the preset so toned since not everyone likes that).
However, I work almost exactly like SnowSultan described it. That flexibility is the beauty of all Genesis figures.
Any shape is basicly just a step towards getting the look you want. Like 50% V6, 25% Gia, 25% Steph, and then fine-tune the details.
So, I don`t think it`s a problem to get a sexy look, I`d rather say it`s easier than ever.
Oh, that's right, blame someone else...:)
Hubba, hubba! Is there a G2F version?
Challenge accepted! ;-) Oddly enough I was already thinking about making a character based on the Venus figurines...
Personally I think there is beauty to be found in people of all shapes and sizes. This was a fun image to make; G2F's more full-figured morphs work great, and I'm really impressed with the content in the G2F Starter Essentials (I only used that, the G2F head and body morphs, and V6 in the creation of this image). Edit: just remembered that the pose I used is a modified version of one that came with, I believe, the Art Nouveau Fun Kit
To answer the OP's question: make a list of qualities you find sexy (or, depending on your goals, qualities you think your target audience would find sexy) and try to achieve those things. Without a concrete list of what you're looking for, it's going to be very hard for anyone to provide good and specific advice. And as others have stated: pose, expression, lighting, morph dials, skin surface settings.
Olympia's body does look very sexy to me. I actually thought: "well finally a real sexy woman". One thing still bothers me: that's when women have more of a six pack than me. ;) So I smoothed out her belly and hips a bit.
To be fair, that is literally the oldest statue in the world. I think definitions have changed in ~27,000 years :p
Venus of Willendorf, if anyone is interested. I knew my Art History class would pay off some day.

Hey, at least you got something out of the course.
I find V6 pretty hot :D
I'm not usually much of a renderer, but I actually tried to tone it down in the promos for my swimsuit.
I'm out of renderengine ATM, but I think S6 will look pretty hot too, or at least I hope :)
Sometimes sexy is about what you imagine, and not necessarily what you can see.
This is Olympia, and I find this image sexy. :)

And yet they crank out skimp wear at the same rate as any of the others. (Not a complaint. I like skimp wear).
No.... Just no.
Welcome HenryChan2
here's the problem...
One principle that remains fairly consistent is that signs of wealth strongly translate into what is considered sexy by society. for much of human history in many cultures fat was sexy -- it meant having money to eat enough and someone else doing physical labor for you. In modern society, where lack of food is less widespread, having the money and leisure time to exercise, get plastic surgery, etc becomes sexy. And just like in many other areas, things get driven to extremes, so you get people who are so skinny their ribs are showing and yet have large breasts being the epitome of sexiness.
The same principle can be seen in male sexiness, although the signifiers are different.
Hmm, not getting that setting, did I miss that morph package?
This is my fave morph, pretty sure I didn't get it here though, LOL
Hmm, I think this is more for women than for men. For me and most of the men I know wealth really doesn't play into it,. If anything, too much wealth equals high maintenance more than sexy, unless you equate wealth with taking care of yourself on an average level. The old adage "Trophy Wife" has more to do with looks more than anything. For most men it seems that the main reason to want a woman with wealth is for the wealth and not the woman.
I find it interesting that there's no response from the OP. There are also no pictures to illustrate a DS problem or Poser problem or what he's talking about. No request for further information at all. And yet here there are 4 pages of opinions about sexy. Hmmmmmm. Very interesting indeed.
As others have stated, what is "sexy" tends to be pretty personal. The figure shape isn't the sole thing that is important when rendering, though. The pose and expression is probably even more important that the actual shape. The skin textures also come into play to some degree, especially for things like facial makeup. And then there is clothing. I actually think partially clothed is much sexier than full nude, for example.
For my tastes, I like the look of a lot of the characters Silver has released. (Used her Norma character as the basis for my latest render, in fact: Simple Nude 004) Her figures are usually a custom head morph with dial-spun bodies. I actually prefer this over the whole-body morphs like V6 and Olympia, as it makes it a lot easier to back out body shape elements that don't appeal to me, as well as add in those that do. I tend to narrow the waistline, for example, and I prefer busty gals (but not the ZOMG breast expansion crap you see so much of). And yet I've had people comment on some of my deviantArt posts that "she'd be hot if she had tiny boobs". (BTW, this is one of the few ways to get your comment hidden and you blocked by me. These comments add no value, and go back to the original theme of "sexy is personal". I don't go around commenting that "she'd be hot if she had bigger boobs/didn't have thunderthighs/etc".)
You can use dial-spinning to try and back out some of the body morphs from the DAZ full-body morph, or only partially dial in V6/whoever. But I find it easier to work against the base G2F body shape, myself. G2F has more flexibility in expressions, too, over prior figures, which is another reason I've switched to G2F as the basis for all my more recent figure kitbashing.
No.... Just no.
Yup.

really Scott? did you have to post my likeness on the forum?
lol! %-P
Wow, how did I miss this fascinating thread! Have only had enough time to read the first page and a half, and will have to catch up later.
I have seen a lot of 3D art that appears "sexy", but I think "sensual" is more along the lines of what catches my eye. Sensual can be manifested in many ways. Clothed or not. It is form, fashion, attitude, an emotion. Lighting, with appropriate highlighting. My typically very-visual male brain notices skin first (can be arms, belly, or booty, but I can spot a pair of long legs at 500 yards!), both in real life and in images.
But skin only buys a "second look", and that's when all the stuff above needs to carry the image (or real-life imagery).
But even then there are no real rules. "Barefoot Dancer" is not a tall character, doesn't have long legs, and she wears more clothing than I typically do on any given weekend day, but if she were a real lady, I'd find her "sexy." Same goes for "Fiery Genesis" in slacks. Weird!
I will say that lighting is super important. I see a lot of low-contrast, low-light images in various galleries and over the last couple months I realized that there is nothing there for me, not even if the image is otherwise "up my alley" so to speak. So proper lighting (with a spot or two) is far more important to my eye than I ever suspected.
I is my understanding that in olden days a fuller figure was considered 'sexy' because it was seen as a sign of health, not wealth.
"Status," I'd say, which is something to which both wealth and health are closely linked.
My understanding is that biologically we're hard-wired to be attracted to signs of fertility (and qualities linked to good parent material: health, strength, loyalty, compassion, etc.), culturally we're attracted to signs of status, and on an individual basis, of course, these layers are mixed with an astonishing variety of personal preferences (Rule 34, if you know your internet memes).
Edit: and the distinction between biological and cultural preferences may be a false one, or at least a murky one.
Depending on how far back you go Health = Wealth...
Basically you couldn't be healthy without being at least a bit wealthy. Or you lived completely outside the urban centers and had your own ideas of sexy...
