  • Some of you talked about other products, how they compare to this or that. It's ok, but each product has their own function and purpose. We don't own any of the products mentioned, so we can't compare.

Thanks to EmmaAndJordi for your input. Since you don't own the similar-ish products I mentioned, I understand how you are unable to compare them.

I think my main concern is that having more than one script compete for the same functions might cause conflicts in DS. I might click a button in one script while another script is running, not knowing that the other script is already involved with that button's function...

I don't know if that makes sense. I don't know scripting. There's redundancy between many available scripts and that's probably OK for me, (I'll learn to recognize where they are), but where does that start to cause problems in the software? Does anybody know about this sort of thing?

  • I especially love your landscapes from the gallery you posted, Emma. Are those in Daz or Bryce or?

And does your program give easy acess to the geometry editor- or tools to use it?  I have a terrible time trying to be precise with the built in geometry editor and would buy your program just for a better way to hide specific areas.

The landscapes are a combination of Terragen and her own brushes and digital painting.

About the geometry editor, it doesn't. What it does is that the Hide tab has two buttons, to hide by geometry. You click one, select a poly for example in a wall, then open our script again, and click the other button. That way it hides all the connected geometry of the wall, hiding the wall.

It's a way to hide things by geometry, very useful for walls and ceiling in an scenery, so light can reach the scene.

The Preview tab can count the polys in the scene.

We can't say how much time do those other scripts to execute. But the ones on our program are instant, so if the others are instant too, there will be no problem.

OK, so then once a script has finished doing its adjusments, another script can safely change that same adjustment after the first one has finished.

A script does not sit there "holding" onto that control. So there would be no confusion in Daz Studio... maybe only some confusion in my head, but I'm used to that.

    Thanks again for responding!

Yes it's just as you say. The script takes control, does what it has to do, and then stops and lets Daz Studio do other things like rendering or if you close it, Daz Studio has the control again. If the other scripts are of click and run, they do what they have to do, then return to give control to Daz Studio. So in theory they can't overlap.

Do you have to have the view port set to Nvidia Iray (instead of Texture Shaded, smooth shaded, etc) to use Pro Render Suite?

No, you can set the one you want. Once opened, you can also change it from inside it too.

Brilliant! It's in the cart. Thank you for replying ^^

    Your welcome! :)

  • Thank you for taking the time to explain in more detail the product. It was in and out of my cart a few times as I wasn't sure if it would be something I would use. Sold. Looking forward to trying it out in my workflow.

I consider myself a medium to medium-advanced DAZ Studio user and last night I was trying to do something pretty basic (mirror a pose), popped open the Easy Pro Render Suite tool from the script link in the Studio toolbar and just did it and got on with my render.  It wasn't until today that I realized I had never used Easy Pro Render before and that I just used it without much thought. And THAT is why I am so happy I got it!  I didn't have to learn a whole new tool or way of doing something - it was intuitive and easy and helped me get on my way without distracting or diverting my mental focus.  WOW!  Great job EmmaAndJordi!  Thank you for this!

Cool! That is exactly what we wanted, that it becomes intuitive and an artist can concentrate in their creations. Thanks to you for telling! :)

  • hello ;)

if one day you do an update, please think about changing the control sliders, the lack of precision is a big default, otherwise nothing to complain about, it saves me a lot of time ;) thank you for your work

You can do the rough work, and then if you want a very precise setting, do it directly by writing the value in  Daz Studio. You can save a lot of time as you say that way.

Have you considered whether there might be updates and/or enhancements to the scripting in the future?

I just have to say I love the promo art you do. For this product the promos really show the artistic effects it can help me achieve. I'm not very knowledgeable about Daz so I didn't even know some of these options existed. Thank you.

Thank you so much MoreTN :) That is what we wanted: give a quick access for those functions and for those who already know, a more comfortable way to use them.
  • Thanks Guys just got a copy and look forard to using it.

It was an instant buy for me.

I only would like to add, how lucky we are to have EmmaAndJordi as a vendors here.

Let's start by saying that this is a very great tool. With this tool one can easily access multiple functions of a scene using your tab system to move among the various modules without returning to the Daz Studio interface. It is a good tool for teaching users certain fundamentials of scene and lighting. With the inclusion of Filament as a render option, do you intend to update the EJ Easy Pro Render Suite to support a Filament options?
